yeah i noticed that - but be careful, as the mavs won a few of those games and just didnt cover a larger number. they just have to win tonight.

sometimes lines can make you feel good or bad about a bet.......i think if cleveland was favored by 5 or 6 i would like them better then i do now.........especially given there record after losses. but aren't we to assume that the oddsmakers are fully aware of cavs record after a loss?........i know they win by like 14 ppg after a loss but i have to believe they were probably double digit favs in most of those wins. right now not sure which way to go. but mich state is a definate play against northwestern who beat (ranked)minny last time

they were favored by -9, +4, -11.5, -10, -12.5, -14 and -2.5..

nice mix of opponents after a loss (good and bad)...

oh man - what a game tomorrow in orlando. boston comes in off a game tonight at miami, while the magic are rested and looking to avenge a loss at boston earlier in the year by 19. the magic are first home off a 4 game west coast trip, but you have to think they'll be amped for this one. versus the new look celts, the magic are 3-1 ats at home the last 4 games. i have my line set at orlando -3.5.

Lonesomeloser, It is so hard to be consistent in betting. You go through your ups and downs but at the end of the day if your hitting more then your losing your making money for the most part. CK seems like he has a solid basis around all his picks and has proven he can pick winners. I feel he has an idea of what he's doing.

CLE -1 (I'm on this one even if no one would be! I'm not seeing the Cavs doing two bad games in a row!)
DAL pk (I don't trust the bucks and I know that tonight the Mavs, against all trends, will get the job done - I think I'm the only one on the thread locking the Mavs)
GSW -6 (warriors on this one to blowout the thunders, revenge style)
OKC/GSW OVER 224 (hoops all night long....shots and shots and more shots zero defense!)

Dallas has been shooting horribly as a team, either one of the main guys get hot but not together. bucks defense are porous and should give dallas a 50% or higher field goal percentage. dampier should run like his life depends on it coz this will be a jump shooting game.

I like

Phoenix -5 (they got a lot of rest against the C's and should get back on track)
Utah +3.5 (always play well against the Rockets. I live in Houston and have followed the Rockets for years, I'm not convinced they're a top-tier team)
New Orleans -4.5 (big win last game should give them some MoMo against a weak Nets team)

(My college play is Rice +27.5 at Memphis. Rice is hot and cold, and I see them up for this game. Memphis is not as strong as they were in past years).

Just my 2 cents.

amare is still the main man in phx - not as much as he should be though. its a shame what porter has done with him.

CLE -1 or whatever, just look at my post from last night, nothing more to say other than that THEY ARE SO MAD AFTER A LOSS, THEY WILL BLOW PORTLAND AWAY

Bos -5.5 , easy call, ride the Celtics while they are hot and Mia just came back from a long road trip, this line should go up soon

Dal -1 playing really good lately, covered 3 out last 4 games, normally win in Mil as they are 4-1 SU, and I need nothing more than that today

was +3 , trend play of the day, 4-1 ATS in Sac

not sure yet: pho -5 they will rebound after that horrible loss and playing against the former coach, should be enough motivation to cover here (last 4 times in NY Pho was favored by 9,9,6 and 6 points, so 5 seems almost too good to be true)

LAL -15, they normally blow the Clippers away, but I think we have better games today, 4-1 ATS and SU at LAC (whatever its the same stadium)

lonesomeloser, its so disrespectful to come into someones personal thread and make derogatory comments about them. EVERY better is going to have low number days and to point them out while ignoring the AMAZING track record is wrong. I know C.K. is a big boy and can take any comments people make but I feel very loyal towards him because of his dedication and commitment to this community. Not only has he provided some great insight into capping but he is a really cool guy who probably will show you far more class than you have shown him.

I hope you take some time and read his previous threads before you consider making similiar comments in the future. This forum can be a valuable asset to you and it should be treated as such.
