I only named that one play because it was the key one late in the game. But other than that i could name 10 other shots that they missed WIDE open, if they make even 3 of those they would win easy.
So yea Bulls played well...but the fact that Miami played a horrific offensive game is 'beating themselves' by not making shots they make 80% of the time probably. Its obviously just rust, they'll pick up next game and throughout the series. But I feel it was more Heat not playing anything near what they usually play, as opposed to Bulls just playing outstanding.
And I do believe that Wade miss was key because after that they more or less gave up as it lead to a Robinson break-away.
Believe it or not, guys miss open shots in the NBA. I can just as many missed open shots for the Bulls.

This is not a remedy for future bets I'm placing, so I really gotta be careful and work out some psychologies to control myself !!

Nice of the op to show up and take the heat, so props to him on that.
It was a terrible bet though, to be fair. Better luck next time, hopefully a good lesson learned.

OP is a good guy, comes off as obnoxious sometimes, but all in all he seems like a nice guy. And as square as he seems, he sure as hell has made more money off posted plays then he has lost.

The mental game is probably more important than the money game. I can understand and relate to your mindset. We are addicted to gambling, I've realized that long ago. I can also understand what you did with your bet, the whole betting the big favorite to protect yourself from losing your profit on something stupid. I used to do that on tennis back when Sampras played thinking I couldnt lose to protect my bankroll. I did....
The key to a gambling addiction is understanding yourself, accepting you probably can never quit and learn to be a better gambler. The most important thing I did in my life was hand the keys of my betting account to my wife. They are my accounts, my bets (I use a specific tout I've been using for the last 10 years) but she places the bets and has the passwords. This was the only way I could control my sports betting and actually profit off it long term. Made my wife a believer since she was now able to see the results as It used to be shrouded in secrecy. Poker, I don't have a problem for some reason.
good luck!

except Bulls are one of the worst shooting teams and Miami is teh best. So if u take 10 wide open shots Miami missed and 10 wide open Bulls missed, its way more of a big deal for Miami cuz they will obv make those shots more often.
My point wasn't 'NBA players never miss a shot'. The point is Miami missed very high % shots and many of them. And Bulls made some very low % shots. Anyway...this stuff happens obv. else the better team would never lose a game. I think next game, and as the series progresses, we'll get to see how Miami will destroy this team once they're in rythm.

You're only looking at the offensive side of it. Defense is part of the game too. Chicago is statistically the better defensive team.

I recovered the £900 lost - Should I close my account now? Need your advice!
I've lost £900 betting on Miami Heat money line:
This bet was lost.
I woke up near the half time between San Antonio Spurs and Golden State Warrios game, and I took the "OVER" betting £1,000 on it after realizing I've lost my bet on Miami Heat:
Here is the link for the image in case SBR makes this image small again and un-readable:
So basically,
I deposited in total £1500 into TheGreek and I have a bit over £1900 in my balance. (£400 profit - $620 US Dollars approx)
I want to take this money out of the account, but I can't.
Why? Because it's a new account and new deposits require a waiting period of 7 business days. (Afterwards there is no waiting time)
If I close my account I won't be able to bet and after 14 days I would be able to open it and ask for a withdrawal - I think that's the best way to move forward, right?
What do you think?
Any advice to stay in control?
Read my thread about my £900 bet on Miami and my loss there, this bet was also made just to avoid betting and I am trying to stay in control.
Any advice?
Tips?
Anything?!
Thanks in advance!

That's the only way to get in control?
So I'm addicted, right?

good luck!
I don't have a wife ... yet ... only a girlfriend.
But your tip is very good.
I am looking for posters like you to help me.
I wish I could run a discussion about this instead of discussing who's gonna win the Heat or the Bulls.....
Btw I "recovered" the £900 ... but I wouldn't call it a recovery ....
I am just an idiot sometimes not knowing when to stop!!!!
Hey .... where are all the idiots who feel like attacking me, huh?!
You think I'm gonna run and hide?!
No!
I just hope this forum can be a place for help and I'm sorry if I called a clown to other people, that's also part of myself being an idiot.

If you honestly need to shut accounts down from making huge bets day in and day out, probably time to find a new hobby until you get some self control. Sad to see as you somehow seem to win more often than not.
Wish you the best in the future, maybe you can have someone make the bets for you, make sure you aren't getting out of control with the amounts, you tell them the game, they enter how much you are betting on it. Just a thought that I've heard some people put to good use.
