Brandon Roy IS playing tonight, so look for the Celtics line to drop back to it's original state of 3.5, or maybe even 3. The power rankings have the Celtics winning by 9, so I'm okay with the reverse movement. After all, the San Diesgo Chargers had reverse movement go against thm last Suday, and we all know how that turned out. Movement isn't always everything. i would agree with that - the kings could need some time to get their chemistry back in order with their leading scorer. also remember, that martin is just a pure scorer (not a distributor) so i think that affects the kings chemisty even a little more (he may be chucking a lot). i have no feelings on this game. not even a slight lean.Comment -

Despite officially being a game-time decision, Brandon Roy (hamstring) is calling himself "doubtful" for Tuesday's game against the Celtics.
The Blazers are concerned that Roy could make the injury worse if he plays tonight and are therefore leaning toward taking the cautious approach. Assuming Roy can't go, Rudy Fernandez would start in his place against a tough Celtics defense.

As a Nevada fan and alumni I can tell you that we will be ready today. Maryland is coming in here thinking that they will be able to walk all over us because we are weak and play in the WAC and have played nobody. What they don't understand is that we have one of the best defensive fronts they will probably see and besides our DB's our defense is not as bad as advertised. Our offense has had plenty of time to rest and the running game will be in full affect. I am looking for 200+ yds rushing today because they cannot stop the run to save their lives. I think this team is starting to come together and the talent we have is some of the best ever. I've been following a lot of the preperation for this and they are loose they are fired up and will come to play. We do play pretty well on the blue turf as well, which Maryland hasn't seen before. I'm not saying that we will destroy them by 30 and we are world stoppers but this is a better team that advertised and noone knows due to our competetion and record. We did play Texas Tech pretty tough this year and should've won that game, the Mizzou game I'd rather not relive. I feel comfortable with 3pts here as I think we can cover by at least 10. Fade me if you want but I think the Pack holds it down...I will be not betting on this one though as it's hard enough to just watch the games as is.
Another early bet for manana...take Carolina and whatever pts they give. We cannot match up with them at all they will win by 30+...hurts to say but the truth.
