on the preceding play..*
Lakers down 1 Pt. and of all people they foul Kyle Korver,*
NBA 3-Pt. specialist (.454) super-sharpshooter now shooting two Free Throws..
Kobe deliberately interferes with the first Free Throw.. while his legs are technically remain behind the line..
his arms are flailing in the periphery of Korver's vision and close to his shooting arm during the execution of the shot..
it subsequently disrupted Korver's shot and he missed the first FT.. it was not called, but everybody saw it.
you can see how annoyed Korver is that he has to put up with such behavior at this professional level.
Even the announcers in the game highlights call it out…*"gamesmanship?" (implying poor gamesmanship)
"a little bit" the other announcer answers, immediately confirming what is abundantly clear to anyone.
they both mock Kobe for tripping over the line, as though it was a raised boundary on the floor.
that missed Free Throw would restore a fresh 3-pt lead.
Ultimately it was Kobe's unethical play, his lack of impulse control, and poor decision-making that created
the quandary that he has put his team in presently.
Kobe's cheat move occurs at the 2:00 mark of this video.. with 16 seconds left in the game
have fun.
