(LAL@ATL) reason for Kobe non-call was "poor-sportsmanship"... by Kobe himself

Stream live NBA games, game replays, video highlights, and access featured NBA TV programming online with Watch NBA TV.

    READ, then watch video:

    on the preceding play..*
Lakers down 1 Pt. and of all people they foul Kyle Korver,*
NBA 3-Pt. specialist (.454) super-sharpshooter now shooting two Free Throws..

Kobe deliberately interferes with the first Free Throw.. while his legs are technically remain behind the line..
his arms are flailing in the periphery of Korver's vision and close to his shooting arm during the execution of the shot..

it subsequently disrupted Korver's shot and he missed the first FT.. it was not called, but everybody saw it.
you can see how annoyed Korver is that he has to put up with such behavior at this professional level.
Even the announcers in the game highlights call it out…*"gamesmanship?" (implying poor gamesmanship)
"a little bit" the other announcer answers, immediately confirming what is abundantly clear to anyone.

they both mock Kobe for tripping over the line, as though it was a raised boundary on the floor.
that missed Free Throw would restore a fresh 3-pt lead.

Ultimately it was Kobe's unethical play, his lack of impulse control, and poor decision-making that created
the quandary that he has put his team in presently.

Kobe's cheat move occurs at the 2:00 mark of this video.. with 16 seconds left in the game

    have fun.

      the referees had pre-determined that..
that since they did not make any sort of call on Korver's Free Throw..

they could not (in good conscience) make a foul call one on the ensuing play,
      had there been one.*

      so, really it's case closed.*

Ratz must have been a blazers fan as a kid. Kobe prevented the "Superstar" blazers team from winning championships while Kobe proceeded to win 5 rings. He has had a hatred for Kobe ever since.

Yeah I think its very possible Kobe might have done that on purpose....

But still, never seen anyone hate THIS much on a person they've never met...Only thing I can think of is this guy had a huge bet on Lakers one time and Kobe somehow messed it up and he hasn't forgotten about it. Because no fan would hate on an athlete this much, even if he's ur teams worst rival.

No, he's exactly right with this post. This is why he didn't get the call.

                              Kobe, karma is a bitch.

I'm happy there was no call. And that Lakers will not be in playoff

well the refs said they did make a mistake for not giving the call too bad they didn't realize that when it happened.

karma most definitely came back to Kobe in that quick series... i think injury likely overstated..would not be surprised if Kobe played..however.., if they are getting killed by Indy, he will start limping and grabbing it.... particularly after a bad miss or turnover, but if ahead, he's in
