    Should I hedge it?

I put $50 on the teaser to win $175.

What should I put on the clippers -9?

I'm math challenged at the moment.

50...so if you lose you break even ....and lets say the clips cover the 9 and win by upto 13...u win both bets...

$118 to get the 225 payout but you would be risking 168 to make 57 bucks. probably let this ride out. small bets are tough to hedge.

I would do 75, that way you are garaunteed to make some $$, plus you have the cushion for 9-14 where you can win them both.
Thats just me, OR you can let it ride, and see if you can get a better deal on a Live In-Game wager....

I dont understand why people make parlays/teasers just to end up hedging the last leg if they win the others. If youre going to hedge it, why bet that last leg in the first place since you know that if its going to come to that once you know the other results youll hedge?

                            no it's mathematically wrong.

                            Let's suppose I parlay 4 plays, 3 at 1PM EST and 1 at 8PM EST.

Once the 8 PM EST game comes, there are 2 different scenarios.

                            1) I won the first three bets
                            2) I didn't win the first three bets.

Case 2 doesn't matter since there is no discussion on whether to hedge or not. But let's look at case 1.

Let's say I bet $100. So, I am basically currently hoping for my play to win to get my $1600 (net $1500). If not, I end up with 0. I panic and hedge, put $960 on the -120 opponent so either way I will win.

If you're not confident enough to ride out that last bet, DONT PLAY IT AT ALL. Here you are going to win $540 if my original bet wins and $700 if my hedge wins. Had I just put the $100 on the first three teams, I'd be cashing out my $700 no questions asked. You're basically just eating up juice by hedging, if you're not confident enough to ride out a last leg then don't play it at all.
