Why are the Nuggets only -2 ?

Raptors struggle with teams that pound the paint. They are better then average against the fast break. Line is suspiciously low as I have Nuggets on paper as -5 at Toronto.

Can taking the Nuggets really be this easy?

I think the line is begging Raptor action.

I was thinking more like Denver -4. But I think this has to do with how Raptors have been playing at home. With the addition of Gay, raptors have been playing pretty solid ball. But Denver has owned the raptors and I think they will win tonight. But the line looks odd. And the games between them have been high scoring. I can see this game going over 207.

Denver had probably the most brutal opening schedule of all teams this year. In their first 23 games 17 were on the road. That's 17 road games and 6 home games to start the season.

No way should a 19-32 Raptors team be favored over a 33-19 nuggets team. Even with Nuggets being less then stellar on the road.


A loss Tommorow at Nets without Dwill would be a bigger public burial imo...

This isn't necessarily a trap. Denver is a great 2H team while the Raptors are not. Iggy being out is actually a + for the nuggets, he shoots terribly.

Gay gives them one of the most athletic pg,sg,sf combos in the league and he is playing with something to prove. If you can go to Indiana and win that says alot about your team. However I do view it as a coin flip game with no value with slight lean on Toronto because of the line movement(or lack there of actually). BOL.

Without them I see the Raptors taking this game. Nuggets probably wont try that hard either. And now the raptors have some real firepower on the wings and without iggy and galinari they can match and better them on shooting and speed/athleticism with lowry, ross, derozan and gay.
