I just don't get what 22 pts in 8 minutes means. Like is that bad? Does that mean Bulls are automatically going to score 130 points if you compound that over the course of a game? Basketball is all about runs so just because they scored over a stretch doesn't mean it will last.

I agree with Lakers defense sucking but doesn't help when your coach is an idiot.

Is almost 3 points per minute for the first 8 full minutes of a game against one of the most offensively challenged teams in the league coming off an embarrassing loss bad?

I'm not looking for an argument here. I feel like I need to put that disclaimer out with you so don't take this personal.

But wtf are you talking about man. Let's break that down. 3 points per minute? Ok and Bulls just had 29 around the 9 minute mark in the second. That's under 2 points a minute. Like I said, basketball is a game of runs. Teams don't go through games steadily scoring 2 points each minute but it seems like you think that's how the games should go.

As for the the coming off an embarrassing loss - uhh what lol? What could their last game possibly have to do with how many points they score? Besides, don't you usually take teams coming off embarrassing losses?

My point is exactly what this thread title is about: you'd think they would come out with energy and focus defensively after getting embarrassed last night and over the last 10 games. Instead it's same old, same old.
