HUGE PLAY SATURDAY (Memphis at Utah)

I rarely post here but I wanted to throw some insight and help some of you out. Memphis is reeling losing to Phoenix and then losing to Denver last night in an hard fought game. Memphis had a hot start but I see them coming back to earth now. One final reason is a back to back from Denver to Utah is extremely tough, as those are two of the toughest places to play.

JAZZ -2. Lack of oxygen in higher elevations. This is Utah, where the Jazz are king and where the Spurs lost the other night. Jazz have only lost to Clippers at home in a game I watched. Randolph and Gasol only combined for 20 pts and Gay was off point. I'm on Utah, too.

This is a terrible matchup for the Jazz. They have the worst paint defense in the league against the one team that can exploit that. Everyone knows how good Utah is at home, that advantage is already built into the line. Why isn't Utah -3.5 or at least off the key number of 2? Because they are outmatched.. all they got going is their homecourt advantage.

That doesn't mean anything. Your right Memphis has no bench but the starting 5 is just a bad matchup for Utah. Utah bench will have to play well to win this game.

Match-up is bad? wrong. These are two similar teams. Much of the points the Jazz suffer in the paint are because they aint able to stop penetration... Foye and Williams are their starting backcourt, lets not forget. Marvin Williams should cause trouble to Rudy just has he did in the first game where gay went 3-17. The jazz bench is much better and without Arthur, we might have Haddadi against Kanter and Speights against Favors... good luck there Memphis. Wellington and Pondexter? please. Only Bayless a way better pg than Watson. Plus, Jazz at home love to run and scorre lots of fast break points. What's the worst part of memphis defense, if not the only bad part? transition. There's your "tough matchup" right there, in my eyes.

If you want to talk like this, these line means the Grizz are 1 point, 1.5 half better at max then the Jazz in neutral court. Yet they have had a stronger schedule and their margin of victory is still 4 points better than the Jazz and they are 3 games ahead in the stadings even after 3 straight losses. So they should be more then 1 point better, now? Or are the bookies actually saying the Jazz are better than the Nuggets? no way.

Sure you can always look at the line and take something out of the way it's set but obviously books are not always right. I might take the grizzlies tonight but we'll see. I'm definitely not taking utah.
