Hits a 3 with four seconds left in a 9-point game to get the cover for Memphis.
Why does it seem like this guy's always at the center of this shit?

That shot saved my combo of 5. He had to take the shot because there was more game time left than time in the shot clock.

I've seen plenty of guys just let the shot clock expire there -- especially in a game that's over anyway. He doesn't "have" to take the shot.

You've never seen a team let the shot clock expire at the end of a game when the outcome is no longer in doubt? Seriously?

By letting the shot clock expire it actually just takes more time. The clock stops now and the other team has to inbound etc. By taking a shot the clock never stops and they don't have to piss around inbounding

agreed....but if you guys have never seen a team up 20 with 28 seconds left and literally hand the ball over to the other team at the shot clock buzzer (24 seconds) then you havent watched basketball on a consistent basis in your entire life. They eat the meaningless shot clock violation and the team inbounds it and walks off the court.

He's a piece of sh!t stats padder like Pau Gasol. These dumb phucks have incentive laden contracts, ans they pick up bullsh!t stats when the game is out of reach. Yahoo wrote an article about Rondo and that stupid assist record he kept chasing. NBA players have no shame, and the game has become more about individual matchups than team competition. Thanks Stern, you fascist little toad.
Oh, and I didn't have a dime on this game. I just hate these phucking stories.
