In today's hardwood action, I am basically fading some of the overtime teams.

I like the Heat-4.5 coming off of a home loss and well rested playing a Pacers team that played overtime last night against the Magic in a tough grueling game. The Pacers are 1-4 straight up in their last 5 games at Miami, but also 4-1 ats. But this situation is not a good one for them as they boarded a late night flight from Indiana to Florida, and crossed a time zone as well. I like the number on this game. The carry over effect may work in Indiana's favor in the 1st half, but by the end of the 3rd quarter, the effects of overtime, being in the eastern time zone and jet lag will kick in, and the jumpers will start to miss.

So too I also like the Rockets+2.5 playing against the Magic. The Magic have the same set of circumstances that the Pacers have in front of them with the time zone and travel, etc. It certainly doesn't help matters any that Houston is 5-0 straight up and ats playing Orlando on the road.

Styles likes her Bobcats tomorrow on the hardwood pointing to their ats record of 7-2-1 overall against the Bucks, and 4-1-1 current ats streak. Obviously they just have the Bucks number. The line for this game has not been announced, but they also fall under the 3 straight up losses category and therefore qualify as a great play.

Those are the only two games I was playing today in NBA everything else is NCAA as well not sure on the Charlotte pick though I just haven't seen anything from them since J-Rich went down to warrant a -2 1/2 point favorite.

I like the Oklahoma pick and Wake forest. I was leaning MSU on that game, but the public hammered it so I am just avoiding the game altogether.

Liking Wizards on ML tonight .

I dont know what anyone else is thinking, but i'm liking the over in the wiz knicks game... watching that game last night, whenever the wizards were controlling that game it was when they were pushing pace and playing a rather sloppy form of basketball, and while it was sloppy, they have shooters and can make some good passes to set up shots and score quickly. well i can't see the knicks complaining about that style of game with d'antoni at the helm, rather i think the pace will suit them to a tee. With noone looking to slow the game down and run their sets, i just can't imagine the total staying under 204... with the public 90-10 on the under, i'm feeling pretty good about the over, especially with the trade... Anyways, i'm looking for feedback just to make sure i see some different angles on this play as i'm always tenative about O/Us, but that's my lean. Thoughts anyone?

I can't see too much defense in this one either. Washington's post guys need to get out on the break and be in open space. McGee and Blatche are not back to the basket type of players. Butler and Jamison can carry the load but Jordan needs to surround them with other shooters to spread the floor. Do you know if the Knicks will suit up the players they just acquired? Their guys logged pretty heavy minutes yesterday...

Oh my God, i am so pissed off at Wake Forest right now that it is hard to see straight right now. They had my cover in hand and snatched defeat from the jaws of victory. But Oklahoma is getting it done right now, Penn State blew out Michigan State as prescribed, the Rockets have got it done, the Bobcats are screwing up, Arizona is doing their thing. The verdict is still out on Miami, as they are having their hands full with a game but tired Milwaukee squad.

I am watching this Phoenix/Portland game with interest, as I think that Phoenix will come out in the second half and blow the Blazers out. So hopefully, the teams will be close in the first half. Iam taking the Suns in the second half to get back what they took from me against the Lakers

Yea I was on that Wake game as well CK it was a brutal loss first they miss the field goal to guarantee at worst OT then of course a 2 minute drill and they let BC get the td and 2 point conversion. It was awful and it cost me my 6 team oh well still a great day for me as I had a 3 team Round Robin with Oklahoma, Miami, and Houston ML. Assuming OU wins and covers still good day for you to though CK.

I hopethe CK Mafia gets this play, because it is authorized by Styles to make up for Charlotte earlier tonight as they underperformed. Portland is tired and out of gas.
