Haven't had an ideal preparation for today's NBA card so just going to keep it small. Was really tired and fell asleep in the middle of researching games, so no totals today either as I haven't had time to "crunch the numbers". Did manage to come up with lines for most games ATS and have found a few I like. In the future I'll try to release NBA picks as early as possible so we can get the best lines possible. Even just picking up an extra hook here and there definitely makes a difference over the course of an NBA season.

As far as I know Jennings is playing for the Bucks so I assume Beal will suit up for Wizards. They made a big deal as usual out of nothing, just a clumsy flagrant 1 IMO and then same for Jennings and then let it go and move on, no need for suspensions.

I didnt really like any of these plays except the nuggs and maybe the blazers. Celtics have struggled all year (and already got wooped hard once by the bucks this year on their home court). Wow watched the Boston game, someone forgot to tell Paul Pierce this isn't 2008-2009, vintage Pierce and the 1-2 iso work with Garnett and Rondo was sweet. Sloppy game yet somehow still a really entertaining game. Green was good, the Jet was ok, Bass is a beast, C's looked mean tonight.

Del Potro has won his last two indoor tournaments beating Federer twice along the way. His only loss in his last 12 Indoor hard matches was against Ferrer in a match I picked Ferrer to win, as JMDP does not match up well against Ferrer's style, and besides Ferrer is playing at the top of his game at the moment. Otherwise Del Potro has been really solid recently on Indoors. I do not expect him to win this match but I do see a few scenarios where we can cover ATS. Del Potro's serve has been solid during this tournament he has a 15/3 Ace - DF ratio and is winning almost 80% of points on his first serve (playing against the world's best players and therefor returners of serve). I have no doubt Del Potro can hold to 6 games in at least 1 set (most likely the first) and then providing he gets broken no more than once in the next set over will cash or push at worse(depending on who serves first in the 2nd set). Of course there is always the chance he will win a set as well which would almost guarantee the over cashing. In 3 of the last 4 matches between the two there has been two 7-6 sets and a 7-5 set. Djokovic is so confident in his own abilities he is often willing to take his opponent on in their own style, which in Delboys case means standing on the baseline and trading heavy forehands. This sort of tennis lends a strong possibility of the first set going to a TB as Del Potro has a booming serve and combined with his heavy heavy ground strokes should allow him to hold most games relatively comfortably even against the worlds best return of serve. Del Potro will believe he can win this match after crushing Tipsarevic and putting on a classy display against the GOAT Federer. Yes Djokovic will unlikely give up as many errors as Fed did but I am more concerned with JMDP holding serve and getting broken no more than once than his ability to break the Djoker, in order to secure the over or a push at worst.Last edited by sando; 11-11-12, 08:35 AM.Comment -

Sorry for not getting back here earlier boys, I was debating the Murray-Fed match for ages and couldn't settle on anything so had to pass. Awfully disappointing that we failed to cover the spread after Delpo won the first set, hopefully we can find something nice in the final to finish the tennis year on a high as even though there is still Davis cup and Challenger finals will probably take a break from tennis until things start moving again on the ATP/WTA circuits in early January and focus 100% of my attention on NBA.

Allen is an elite perimeter defender and Conley no slouch either (Garry "the glove" type hands), they should be able to patrol the perimeter and keep Miami's army of 3 point bombers in check. Big line I know and the Lakers have been very inconsistent this season however today I predict the real Lakers team will show up. If both teams played to the best of their abilities Kings no chance to keep this under double digits. Of course teams rarely play to the best of their abilities (especially reg season) but today is a big game in La La land. By now everyone knows about the Mike Brown axeing and it has been confirmed the Kuptchak and his cronies have met with Jackson and he is seriously considering returning as the possible saviour of this $90M wad of wasted talent. Anyway like Charlie Sheen, Jackson is a winner and the Lakers will no doubt be very keen to prove to Phil that they have the desire and the motivation to get the job done. Kobe runs the Lakers and he is Phil's #1 fan, he will probably be foaming at the mouth as he addresses the boys and installs the significance of their performances over the next week, starting today. There is a genuine motivational angle to play here today apart from the usual fact that Lakers/Kings go way back and there is seriously no love lost between the two (Chris Webber), so you would expect the Lakers to rise to the occasional as they nearly always do (unlike against the Clip's for example where they are constantly taking them for granted).
