Kahne has awful record here overall, ok for quali, but Newman is one of the quali studs

plus they are tie 2-2 in qualifying here last 4 races, and kahne out qualifying newman on 1.5s this season

yes, the one and only.

It does look good on TV. The track is a bit too tight and lacks landmarks as it is though imho... which makes it even harder to work out where the cars are on track on TV at night. A personal peeve of mine though, don't see others complain.

One bad thing about a night race in this part of the world... people don't really want to plan to spend all day and night at a motor sport venue on a Sunday with work the next day. So crowds are diminished. Which I think takes away a bit from excitement. Not that you can really see the crowd at night though I guess

Winner of truck race at Iowa came from the pole 3 out 4.

CUP:
practices: 1pm and 4pm today (both on espn2)
qualifying 1:30pm tomorrow (speed)
CUP race: 1pm sunday (espn)

nationwide race: tomorrow 3:30pm (espn2)

trucks race: tomorrow 8pm (speed)

finished 3rd, 1st, and 3rd last 3 races @ iowa...liked the value

*7 of the 11 races @ chicagoland were won from a starting position OUTSIDE the top 10

**besides 1 win from the pole, no other winner has started better than 6th

this race was great last year, 5 different drivers lead 35 laps or more, 22 lead changes, and 1/2 the field ran out of gas on last 5 laps tilo the final lap....

**this race has finished on fuel mileage several times

they have been up since they opened DAD (@5d anyways)...once they post them they are never taken down til sessions start

will be going down @ 1pm (et) when practices start for the day, then odds will come back up sometime later tonight
