I don't bet big on it, but it is a fun sport to watch IMO. Got lucky and hit a $25 3 team parlay last weekend LOL

Looks like a rough sport. They don't wear any padding that I see.

I'm sure Opti and Matl knows a lot more about it than I do....

MatI is astute on AFL. He lives in the capital city of the sport, Melbourne.

I live in Sydney, the capital city of NRL (Rugby League).

Inter-City rivalries make it impossible for me to be too complimentary about the aerial ping-pong game those Southerners love.

It is a good game to watch though. Although it takes a while to really learn the rules well enough so you know what/why all the damn free kicks are awarded for. I've almost got it after 40 years of occasional viewing

I still can't believe Collingwood didn't cover that line Reno. They kicked 12.19. If only they kicked straight we both would have cashed.

Anyway, onto NASCAR. I haven't been paying too much attention this week, distracted by the Olympics all week and following the Aussie Rules all weekend so far. I don't think i'll stay up for Truck race, but will be checking in for Nationwide and Cup.

its a longshot based on what i saw in Q-trim yesterday, but was a longshot to start with...but honestly dont think has much of a chance
