Never had....but heard that any tear or strain of the oblique makes it very painful, just to do normal everyday shit.

Now factor in the aggressive movements of your core....during a golf swing....can't think "ol ricky"will fare well

Just try n grind thru the rd...some injuries help golf game, cuz u slow swing down a few mph.

But a constant pain, probably similar to a hernia, painwise, I'm guessing, will surely NOT feel good rotating that core on a golf swing
