and basing picks just cause he looks fast in practice doesnt mean alot to me, hes looked good in practice alot last few years, and wasnt that fast this week, his 10-laps avg didnt even crack top 10...thats why practices dont mean much to me and reading too much into them will bury nascar bettors...was just his time finally..nice to see him win though

ill start the VEGAS thread tonight or in the morning.....
im going back to regular bets and not holding back starting now....nothing has changed in cars really, so i dont see any reason to hold back and keep thinking we might not be on to something early and being cautious with risk/bets
**remember, we started 3 out of 1st 8 races last season, and reeled off 17 in a row.....im ready for that to start earlier this year!!!

You guys know im your favorite fan, but somebodys got to be the villian sometimes. I was just giving ya'll some constructive criticism.
Last year near the end of the season i took Carl in a few races and you guys let me know quickly that was a bad bet. Ya'll say he hasnt won in over 140 races but i think its more like 70, but 2 years ago he finished 2nd in the points, so in my thinking he had to be doing something right, must have been awhole lot of Top 5-10's to get into 2nd place for the year.
But any ways on to Las Vegas, I'll be ya'lls biggest chearleader.
Hope i didnt make you guys too mad, especially after a lost, i didnt mean to rub salt into your wounds, more like celebrating me winning for once.

i wouldnt want to know the money i wasted on edwards the last 3 years after that big '08 season last year i think i vowed never again, but he wasnt even on my radar

I'm definitely in that group! I kept firing away at him until enough losses made me convince myself that marriage may have shifted his focus..I'm not sure that was it but he sure started spiraling for some reason.
Let me clarify this because I know he had his best year in 2011 after being married 2 yrs and barely missed the chamionship. What I meant is that because of 09 and almost all of 10 I got away from him and have never really had much faith after that. I believe I missed his wins in 10 by about 3 races.Comment -
