I've been on board for Italy to win this comfortably for days. Maybe even scoring the 4 tries they need for a bonus point. And I've always thought the Ruskies are maybe the only team there more for the fun/experience than to compete seriously.

But 12 team changes sounds more like panic than planning to me. So am just not sure anymore.

I am on the ruskies for this game, and apparently Nick Mallett has mentioned that it will not be his strongest side playig tomorrow so for those backing Russia on the cap, there is hope for us guys yet.

I dont claim to know everything/much but my 2 cents

Before the match I would have said that the forward back would need to work together alot to compensate for pococks loss (esp since mclaum isnt a 7!) otherwise it would be a very long game! But they should be able to force a victory

After the match you could see the breakdown was big problem for the aussie's without pocock etc. But I didnt think it would be that bad before the game

Ireland played well though. Loved how they slowed the ball down!
