Does anyone like the line tonight?? I just dont rate the pies at all and the saints look even more hungry than last year. I'm either going to ruin my weekend or start it off with a BANG. Im taking two big plays Saints straight up and saints at the line. Lets hope the weekend starts well

Yeah i think ppl are seeing too much into that bulldogs win with the pies here. Both teams were inefficient with the ball and at times lack-lustre, neither of which can be afforded against the saints...

Collingwood +whatever they want worries me. It's either going to be tight or a complete Saints blowout. I think either team U15.5 or Saints 40+ flip a coin.

I agree with that...but i do like the pies +56.5 even if the saints win easily....only 2 im slighty concerned about are North and Melbourne...more so Melbourne

Thus far this AFL season both sides are undefeated, but that could easily have not been the case had cellar dwellar candidates Melbourne kicked a late goal against Collingwood. This near miss will undoubtedly spur the Magpies but they are coming up against a side that is scintillatingly hot. Don't expect the Saints to let their foot off the peddle either after a 104-point victory, for they will want to be just as ruthless with the team they defeated in last year's finals.

Scott Pendlebury was solid out of the middle last week for the Magpies but the entire St Kilda engine room was switched on, not to mention their captain and star forward Nick Riewoldt who did as he pleased against the hapless North Melbourne defence.

The pies will somehow have to try and control Sam Gilbert, whose drive out of half-back last week was only matched by his work in marking contests and awkward ability to evade the opposition. He has steadily improved each year since his debut for the Saints and it is not impossible for him become one of the competition's elite players.

So currently just how good is Collingwood? This writer believes somewhere between the side that defeated the Bulldogs and that almost got beaten by Melbourne, the Pies are still a few steps behind St Kilda.

In conclusion the magpies (collingwood) are still getting their team together, particularly its defensive structures and just how best to use Josh Fraser as a ruck/forward. The Saints (St. Kilda) are a slick machine that has everything in place and should come away from this with the points. My wager here is for St. Kilda -17.5 (+104, at betfair, 2 days ago) x2 units as i believe they wil win this game by 30+ points......

This should be a beauty of a game...GL guys and happy wagering...

Thankyou and tough luck there with the storm. As a quick aside are you able to tease aafl and rugby lines at all in a parlay

Yeah, the Storm was a bit of a travesty at the end.

And yep, at least on the 2 sites I use - sportsbet and sportingbet - you can. I had the Saints parlayed with 2 rugby league matches, one straight up and the other was a line bet.

No, at least on those two sites you CAN'T tease lines in your parlay. Or if you can, I sure as hell haven't figured out how to do it.

Yeah I just don't rate a side that has to rely on the likes of cloke, medhurst, davis, Anthony though he got dropped. There fringe players can't get the hard ball except maybe cloke but not good enough. Plenty of time to hit em Shari all weekend, we'll get them

I'm with ya Shari, being a nth supporter I cant see this game going over 185 the only thing stopping me from driving my car, boat and motorbike to my local and throwing that on is that its at etihad so its going to be perfect conditions and they should be ready to show something today but still cant see it going over. Interesting game this, port have shown there better than last season and I dont think the weather is all that great in Adel which should work in ports favour with bris having a big forward line. I'm waiting for the live coverage and if there is rain or at least a slippery ground then im on port in a close one 1-39 or either team under 15.

IMO its still too early to accurately gauge ports form as they have made strong starts in previous seasons only to fade away by round 8 or thereabouts...It is windy here though so i think the under 15 goals would be a better option as aami stadium is a swirlpool generally in these types of conditions....

Anyone live in Adelaide? Think that Port total is pretty skinny. Look what happened with North Melbourne in the rain against Port, they dominated and scored later in the qtr's. Could be a decent bet. If its raining straight up, i may pass.

Brisbanes offense is way better than Norths.

They have had periods in the first two games where they have gone quiet but back at home I think they will get over the line. Thanks for the weather update I might have a go at the under total score although just checked its at 173 thats a bit low I feel
