    Same shit, different game.
NSW dominating but behind on the scoreboard.

Our right side is playing well - Morris, McManus and Lewis going great guns.
My man of the match so far is Watmough -he's smashing it!
Bird, Farah and Dugan going great too.

Aaron Woods looks like a sack of shit - how he's in the team ahead of Tim Grant is beyond me.
Our halves are struggling and win, lose or draw, Pearce has got to go.

QLD are struggling and Inglis isn't in the game at the moment.
I expect that to change in the second half, but it appears McManus and Morris have shored up the threat of the QLD left.

Agree re Woods, he's soft as butter, couldn't believe no Grant either. Can't see why Hoffman gets a spot either.

Halves really need to be Renyolds/Carney next year.

WTF! Streaker gets the cover for NSW backers! Degen on tilt took matters into his own hands. What a finish.

I would have been on tilt if NSW couldn't even manage a cover from a game they should have won by 20 points. Fowards and bench did a good job, Dugan was the only back worth a pinch of shit.

Dugan sensational. Hayne and Gallen were missed. Pearce must make way for Reynolds , Carney for Maloney,Fifita also sensational alas for NSW supporters it still may be a couple of years.

Matt Scott surged in the last minute with two runs that pushed him up to around 140 meters hopefully

Dugan wasn't the only back to play well - he stood tall, but the Josh Morris and McManus played well too, Jennings must have stayed up late at SBW's place because he was off his game, made a couple of mistakes. Brett Morris ran hard and had a good game too.

Surely Pearce has played his last game of Origin? How brain-dead must the selectors be to keep ignoring the fact that he can't kick or direct a team around the paddock?

I am not so sure about Carney though Angelo - go and have a look at his defence in the recent games against the Broncos and the Storm - he lets in a number of soft tries - yes he can set up some tries, but if he's getting shown up at club level, he'll get torn a new one in Origin.

Once again, our pack totally dominated theirs and most of their gun players had an off night, yet with all the possession, a favourable penalty count and playing at home, we still couldn't get the result.

Phuck Farah with his stupid kicks, he thinks he's Cameron Smith in a blue jersey. Keep the ball in hand you twat.

That streaker episode was epic - one of the great SOO moments of all time!

Blues deserved to at least cover, but FFS, it's not like Brisbane has amazing defense, Blues just lack the right playmakers. Pearce is the Ed Cowan of NSW, we need Reynolds in there for game 1 next year - the only silver lining is that this loss may accelerate the change.

I don't think those players were anything more than solid but I was taking most of my anger out on the halves, you're right I probably went a little overboard there.

Realistically, who had a blinder for QLD? Most of their players had solid games too, which is really all you need as long as one of your key players can step up. Hodges and Tate saw plenty of ball and played really well, but apart from them, who put on a show?
Slater was average, Inglis was a no show (especially after he got injured), Cronk and JT were did what they needed to do and Smith was his usual commanding self.
Their gun players had quiet games and they still won.
NSW had field position, won the penalty count, home ground advantage, won the battle of the forwards and couldn't crack them.
Imagine if Cronk, JT, Smith and Slater all have blinders? We'd get lapped.

                                    Our halves -TERRIBLE!

I love how all the QLD commentators are defending Mitchell Pearce.

Of course they want him to stay in the team - he's their 18th man!
