Lost my daily bankroll today. Hasn't happened in a while where I lost every bet. Just missed a home run in the Canadian with Long On Value winning at 10-1 and Aripeka 3rd at 18-1 , exacta would have put me way ahead but instead ...nada.

Huge day Saturday at Gulfstream , Tampa Bay , Santa Anita , and Super Saturday at Meydan in Dubai.

Honor Code and Wicked Strong square off in GP Handicap.
Not the best betting race with a pretty small field but can't wait to see how they come back.

Dubai's card is just about all Group 1s , 2s , and 3s. Haven't got into it yet to see how open the fields are. A bunch of former USA horses entered and should be the most we have seen in a long time on World Cup Night.

I'm snowed in pretty good so have nothing but time the next couple days to study.

Perfect time for a snow storm

Mike, I would love your thoughts on GP and SA. I am working on my writeups for that day as well. You didn't even mention the Gotham at Aqueduct either.

Yeah a little afraid of the 3 headed Pletcher entry plus if El Kabeir decides to go here.Think he is cross entered in a couple races.
Classy Class is improving too. So that's 5 good horses you have to get past to get to any decent price. Blame Jim was supposed to be a good one for Pletcher getting all the hype leading up to his Saratoga debut last year.

Mott has been throwing in what looks like a no hoper in several graded stakes over the last couple years at huge prices. He is going to pop one of these times.He has Tiz Shea D 15-1 straight off the trainer change from Servis after only winning his first start.

In the Tom Fool , Terranova gets excellent results when he takes blinkers off. Salutos Amigos looks way the best on paper but he has been running vs slowish paces the 4 races he won out of last 5. He can be blitzed with a fast pace by a Dads Capa / Green Gratto duel and maybe West Hills Giant stays close enough to take advantage when their smoke clears. At 12-1 I could try him.

I was actually very unimpressed with the field, there are a ton and I mean a ton of questions in that field, but TIZ SHEA D is one that pops of the charts for me a bit. He is one that I think could easily pop at a nice price.

Sry been friggin sick last 2 days. Been asleep most of the time so never got around to handicapping . Was excited to cap the cards but now I'm just a fan watching.

Think after this weekend the bandwagon is going to be overflowing so take whatever you can get before saturday. Kind of sucks because I think Bold Conquest is better than he looks.

Looking closer at the Rebel it is really looking like an AP paid workout. The only other horse of note in that race is the Pletcher question mark, MADEFROMLUCK who looked great going 1 1/8 last time out and rates as a +9 in terms of pedigree for the Rebel. THETRUTHOREL will take some money, but I don't think he is close to the even a B- race from AP.

The bandwagon will fill quick, especially after a win this weekend, but I am not sure that a win in the Rebel tells us much about AP.

I think Bold Conquest is a good horse and could surprise with a race that looks like it's out of nowhere if he makes the derby field.

Still think AP wins impressively this weekend at 1 1/16 but when we get into 1 1/4 or 1 3/16 or 1 1/2 miles , I think that is Bold Conquests wheelhouse.

I agree I like Bold Conquest if he can get it, I am not sure he can win it, but he will be right there. And I kind of hope that AP romps here, more money off the horses I will be betting on.

I and the odds are pretty sure he romps here. With his style and this field I think Espinoza just lets him run , not trying to walk the dog or anything.

I think he is the real deal and some caution signs that could change my mind are if he lugs in/out or has problems switching leads.
