are you saying that you can bet a horse not to win,and,if it indeed loses. you win the the bet? should i go back to bed and think about this some more? the list of horse picks you provided are losers in your opinion,and, you want them to lose.is this correct? if so i've been playing this game wrong for the last 30+ years.

Yes and no. I mean, laying is as much risky/profitable/losable as backing possible winners. When you are laying the horse with odds for example 20, you have to risk 19 points to win just 1. So you can experience long successful patches when 2 or 3 losers will wipe out all your profits. In other words, you have been doing nothing wrong for all your past ;-)

OK. This looks promising now, but I know - one or
two missed shots and back into red I'll dive

Hope this won't happen anytime soon.
My goal is to double the bankroll to prove that this
system is profitable. After 2 weeks, I sit
at great strike-rate, but as already mentioned,
this is not a great effort because of high odds
that I am forced to lay the horses. Also, the s/r cannot
go much higher - if I win another 900 selections,
I would gain less than 3 percent... lol

Avoiding these losers, the bankroll can grow to
200 pts in a month or so, depending on number
of selections and odds of course. A loser here
and there and I can be around 100 pts in a year.

That being said - let's define the stop points.
A) the bankroll doubled - 200 pts
B) 1 year from the beginning of the thread expires
C) reaching 50% of the original 100 pts bankroll

Hope the A) occurs ;-)
