I don't really follow any set pattern but for the most part I just play exactas .I'll usually only make a win bet if my pick 3 or pick 4 got blown up or I just think the odds are way off on a horse I like.

As for the Classic

2-Flat Out---Is the most likely winner IMO.His recent workouts are drawing raves from the clockers and he fits on figures with the 2 ML favorites.

3-Drosselmeyer---Has gotten back to his good form from last years belmont but even with that his ceiling looks like 3rd or 4th place.Think he might of had a chance in the Marathon.

4-Ruler On Ice--Is a still developing 3 yr old whose last race might have been the most impressive LR in the field.If he runs a realistic new top he can have a say in the outcome at 30-1 ml.

5-So You Think---Is a world class TURF horse.IMO would win the BC Turf if he were in it but instead connections want to try dirt.I guess he has a chance if he takes to the dirt but given all the ? he is a monster underlay.

6-Ice Box---I am really a fan of N Zito but this brings him down a notch for me.He shouldn't be in the race and makes Zito look desperate to have a horse in the race.

7-Rattlesnake Bridge---Ran behind Ruler On Ice last race but was about the same effort as he was taken out of his game due to a drastic speed bias.The fact that he paired up says a lot to me and same as ROI he is an improving 3 yr old who probably has more room to improve than ROI being he didn't set foot in a race until this year.I think he has a big shot to run well here at 30-1.

8-Game On Dude---Is a top tier horse in California but these aren't Awesome Gems.Maybe he cracks the super.

9-Stay Thirsty--Would have been my 4th pick.He has some races that fit and the distance suits him better than MO.

10-Havre De Grace--Is a super horse but the hard campaign might be taking its toll on her.If she runs her usual race she is a strong contender to win but I'm playing for her to regress.

11-Headache---At 30-1 I wouldn't talk anyone off him but he looks a class below these.

12-Uncle Mo---Is a world class miler but not 2 turns.He is a big underlay and I'm playing for him to fold turning for home.If he beats me its fine as I am a fan of horse racing and would like for a superstar to show up.Just hoping its Rattlesnake Bridge instead.

13-To Honor And Serve---His last race was a illusion as he got carried by the track in setting a track record.Problem is in the race before him another horse who had no business in history also set a track record.Ruler On Ice and Rattlesnake Bridge were more impressive and while they are improving now I think this guy was at his best as a 2 year old.

I think it fell into Afleet Again's lap with how fast the pace was.For some reason Rosario rode the Pleasant Prince like the race was a mile shorter.Birdrun and Pleasant Prince were both very impressive finishing 2nd and 4th after running those crazy fractions.

I liked the 3-Shakespeare Shaliyah but think the europeans might be tough (4,5).Its wide open though just about anyone could win and I wouldn't be surprised.
