a 2yo msw but small track so can't be in other thread..think this ml too high..caught a sloppy track first out and made a nice improvement with blinkers 2nd out..perfect spacing of 13 days between all 3 races (debut, last and today)..trainer has probably hit a few bombs based on his roi

$10k mcl 5f turf @ meadowlands (last race)
R6 #5 ob la di (4-1)
think if you toss poor starts, wrong surface, bad posts and racing above his head this a horse who can run here..efforts 4-5 back would make him tough here and not concerned about the big drop
10 career starts..5 for 5 @ 5f on a firm turf ..huge inside bias in turf sprints..trainer excellent in applicable categories
R5 pass
R6 juvenile turf sprint
#3 go bears go (15-1)
makes 7th career start ..last at 7f you can toss (today's 5f) .. here's what he did in his first 5 starts between 5 and 6f (ascot, curragh, newmarket)
2 wins
2nd by a head
3rd < 1 length*
4th by exactly 1 length*
* from winner
competition
(leaving out last race)
2 group 1's
1 group 2
1 listed stakes
1 allowance
pretty impressive resume when running at the proper distance
..highly competitive race but getting a bit of a price on this one very appealing..he was fairly close at the quarter pole in his last (watched replay) so probably got some conditioning out of it
R7
juvenile fillies
#5 juju's map (5-2)
2nd choice to #6 echo zulu (4-5)
both cost the same but mine exp relative
cox has much better numbers in applicable categories than asmussen (#6)
two turn win on front end of a solid pace..other hasn't done it yet
wouldn't leave out 6 if playing horizontals..if your plan was to single the 6 to save on your ticket I'd stick with it..not a strong opinion
R8
juvenile fillies turf
#2 cairo memories (12-1)
highly competitive.. broke her maiden here first out going 2 turns in september.. like a 2yo who can do that and goes again at the same track ..followed that with an easy listed stakes win where she was close to a very fast pace..2 and 3 posts are the best ones in turf routes..kent a very solid turf rider
R9
juvenile
#9 pinehurst (8-1)
other baffert..
2/2 and they are both at dmr
trainer excels off short layoff and first route
got 7f impressively last out so could see getting the extra distance..part of why you'll get better odds..dam sire helps with stamina
cost a bunch for specs (still like that even at this stage)
R10
juvenile turf
#8 glounthaune (12-1)
expensive for specs..makes 4th career start after winning at 7f in a group 3 in ireland..only a furlong further today and has an extreme stamina dam sire..one of the top euro jocks ,ryan moore, rides
churchill
R5 #3 knowhowiknow (5-2)
R7 #4 lady mercedes (5-2)
going to go race to race today but will scan through them prior..sometimes I find when you do it all at once you get a little weary at the end and miss things..other tracks will put up early

I'll exclude the non-bc races from this

breeders cup saturday
R1 #9 spirit maker (8-1)
R2 #3 cupids claws (6-1)
R3 #4 glesga gal (15-1)
many races in europe on off surfaces and will get firm going today..efforts at 7f are very solid (albeit vs much less) and if those races were 6f wouldn't consider here (too much of a difference) .. #7 was nothing on turf overseas and came over here to run in california and is a completely different horse..her race prior to the ship was at 7f just like this one's
