just want to acknowledge ventura that I don't automatically toss this combo.. depends also on how i view the other horses in any particular race.. like to try and beat them if I see something decent.. what I started with here not an absolute

Just seeing this. Noticed that this was for Will Rogers and not Fonner. I agree with you though. I always try to beat Didoro but he’s so tough. And by that, I mean his “vet work” is top notch.

If you have a chance, please checkout the 7th at Fonner. I appreciate your input.

#6 (3-1)not going to play a horse with 2 consecutive big fig 4f wins to go 6f next ..try to beat these types

#5 (5-2)another with consecutive wins last at 6f and prior at 4f..perhaps the Bute agrees with him lol..no problem with him but will be short

#2 kinley cash (6-1) trainer has 1 start this year and his record over the last 3 years very bad to boot..first time with this horse so maybe sold or theyre just trying an easier track which i think this is..not someting to just dismiss..has put in some decent efforts at delta and canterbury..think what it comes down to for me is even with the bad trainer this is the type of horse that fits my profile best ..the trainer will just make the price better

Thanks for your input. I’ve been struggling with this race since the entries came out.

#6. She is really fast out of the gate. Trainer waited to hopefully get a half mile race to go but had to go in this spot. He told me he had a lot of doubt in her getting 6F.

#5 a fast horse but not as fast as the 6 out of the gate. Very curious to see what Jake does out of the gate going into the 1st turn (bullring) with the 6 drawn immediately outside. (If needed the 6 could be clear - she’s that fast)

#2 I’m not sure what to make of this one. On of my partners believes the race sets up for the 2. I’m not 100% certain but I believe the trainer worked for the previous trainer (leading trainer at the meet and for the past three years).

I personally think this race gets “stupid”. I think the race comes down to the 2 or 3. The 3 was a freak over this track last year but the recent starts make you question if maybe she’s lost a step. Gets a good jockey switch and should get a good trip to make one run.

thats how I view the 3..last few starts not good,8yo getting up there or maybe ready for a big race 3rd off the bench lol..sticking with the 2..and like that this trainer may have worked for top trainer at the track

I don’t think you see anywhere close to 10/1 on the 7 in R3 at fonner. I actually put a bit on this horse on Bovada with fixed odds at 10/1. At the end of the day I hope the 3 wins though.

Hope she comes out of the race okay. Looked slightly off in the hind end but think she’s just tired. Track took a lot of rain over the weekend and the time was terrible.

And I will add that a majority of the plays in my thread are mythical as well. I can not legally play Par-mutuel in my state, but some are tourney action which is legal here. And I also use the SBR Book at times.

i put as much or more effort into it this way than if I were playing for small change.. been doing it this way for a long time now and don't miss the money part.. capping horses enjoyable enough for me.. look forward to your return

Hey LKID: If you want to start a thread LKID1 Tracking up to you. I do not want to commit to grading 3 players threads for the rest of the year so you would need to grade. However, If JBEX or I take a break for a bit I may jump in your thread and say I will grade for a specified amount of time if you want. But like I said you would need to make the commitment. As for the parameters w/p only and increments of $1-$4, simple rules. GL.

I usually wind up around 9-1 average odds and feel it requires well over 1000 plays (maybe 2000)to get a sample size big enough for reasonable validity..that's calculus which I got a c in lol
