Race #8

#1 PARTISON POLITICS - Seriously sitting at 20-1 right now is a freaking gift. Please let him stay up there somewhere. Last out was a horrible trip and still was up for 4th in a good field. This horse is much better than he looks on paper and that means overlay. I would be ecstatic with anything over 12-1 here.

#3 OSALIA - My favorite in this race, The bets of the Euros in a race that has been domin at Ascot and is clearly the class of this field here. +9 HBD Turf pedigree rating makes me think he will like this course and will be able to do well. The small added distance isn't a concern and could help too.

#14 QUALIFY - Huge HBD Turf Pedigree number stands out well above the rest, won last out at Curragh and has a huge late kick. If he is close he will have every chance in the world to go.

#3 SUNSET GLOW / #5 ISABELLA SINGS - Either one wouldn't surprise me here and will have a shot.

Would like to get your thoughts HBD on the #11 Chicquita in race 9 on Saturday. Only fillie in the race, they put her in a gr1 after falling the race before. Then after winning a gr1 and place in gr2 they put her in Prix de l'Arc de Triomphe one of the best turf races in the world and she is the favorite at 1.75 over Flintshire who had just as good resume and was 20-1. And know Flintshire is the fav in this race.

Were the betters just so wrong that day? Or is Chicuita better then the fav Flintshire and just had a bad race?

Chicquia is better than Flintshire if she can figure out how to run in a straight line. According to my notes, she veered horribly in a number of her last races. Including her last two out. I have her HBD Turf Pedigree number as a monster +32...thats insanely high. (Its not based on a great deal of data, but still crazy high).

She is one of those that I will be watching closely tomorrow for some good odds. ML odds of 8-1 are probably fair, but you know on BC day crazy numbers happen especially on foriegn horses. If we can get 10-1 or higher, I am all over her.
