so much for cutting back lol.. I think it's something that seemed easy to do but in reality there are a lot of plays in the ballpark of the main angle I look for.. tough to make the calls which ones to play.. going through the races so many of these go off way below the ml especially at lower odds.. I'm going to carry this out to 200 plays (horses) and stop tracking the average odds because that's a pain in the ass..ultimately tracking over the long haul I don't want to do . as we've discussed before between the high track take and the abundance of underlays I wind up on by playing in advance, it's not worth it to me putting that extra time.. just want to enjoy doing it and not make it a chore.. will carry it out to at least 200 here as I said

I think I've improved in race selection (passing races).. even the categories of races I like if I don't see it move on.. that's easier said than done as there's more gray area than clear cut or close to clear cut plays
for me.. this will never change and always be one of the biggest challenges.. the horses going off much lower than morning line is really tough to take.. yesterday there was a 15-1 ml I had that went off 9-5..won by daylight but that's a clear no play if you see the odds before post.. my only knock on tourney's is a lot of good days you walk away with nothing.. understand the positive is lower vig.. mutuel pools avg around 17% with exactas in the low 20's and horizontals a few points higher than exactas so substantial less tax in the tourneys.. also if you play tourneys it evens out the disadvantage of horse going off too low as everyone has to deal with that.. see what happens
