just missed by a neck on the front end in a 1 turn mile listed stakes at laurel..according to brisnet pace a little faster than normal so even though he was 3 lengths clear

no drama..done right away and beaten by the favorite .. used too many underneath to add the winner to the ticket and don't like the tickets to be ridiculously expensive..50% more adding him

have to try and beat #3 solimini (3-2 baffert) and my favorite of the rest is #7 sporting chance (5-1)..575k big pedigree horse..big race in the grade 1 hopeful at saratoga which he won in gritty fashion near the front end..pace figures very fair in that one..bit of a troubled trip on the mud in his debut race as a 3yo in the southwest but got some route experience..that one off a 6 month layoff..johnny v winning @ a 29% clip over 211 route races which to me is the equivalent of hitting .370 in late august with over 400 at bats

my biggest problem with him is the outside post..it's terrible at oaklawn at that distance..also for me in these types of races i'm looking for something different
than the horse who came in 2nd in the two local preps..not knocking you by any means as it's just my approach..i always try to find something a little out of the box in these types of races..back class as a 2yo,expensive purchase/big pedigree or both,trainer pattern etc..that being said lol my ml is lower than yours..gl mr g nt and great job in your thread

Outside post is definitely a concern. Hopefully he won't too wide through out. As for trainer, Lukas is on of my "sh*t" list. Nothing personal, just don't like his training style......

don't like him either ..imo nobody does less with talented horses than him..but not enough to sway me off this horse
should be a great race..baffert going to be tough to beat
