Yeah, cocknocker (CK) runs his own thread and he has a lot of people that post their picks on his thread. The guy is sharp and a lot of the posters there are really good too. It is like a place they all hang out and exchange information, ideas, etc. They call it the CK mafia, CK runs the thread but as the other guys have gotten sharper he kind of stands back and lets them do their thing. I mean he still posts but not as much as before. I like it, i have seen more than a few posters there step up their game big time in a few short weeks.

TA's picks are quite good, thanks for posting them TA. I usually had little confidence in my NHL picks until I saw they lined up (somewhat, I took the sharks last night) with TA's.

Ck Mafia is right. I'm a regular in the thread. I have only gotten better since hanging out there. Hockeytown posts his hockey picks there. he has been real good lately. no moneylines over -150, and he is still ahead on his hockey picks.

TodaysAction I'm curious to know how you arrived at Calgary last night or more specifically what information led you to take the Flames over Anaheim on the road as one of your selections on Wednesday?
The reason I ask is because there is or was one important one-sided stat that favored the Ducks and I'm wondering if you use these angles in making your selections. The stat indicated that Calgary was a dismal 1-9 in their past 10 trips to Anaheim and now of course we know that the stat slides to 1-10.
Do you use the stats pointing to a team's previous visits against their opponent?

Close only counts with handkerchiefs and hand gernades. CAL lost, we move on/forward. The same would have been tru had they won. One needs to put the day's action "to bed" after the final play and work towards the next day - might not work for you/others but it does for me.

All selections are based on the formula's process. Here is an overly simplistic overview of it. Each portion of them have a certain weight/percentage. After putting each variable into the works, a number is derived, take that number and put it aside (while doing the other computations), run the final numbers through to get a result, repeat with other team, compare and contrast the results to determine if (any) action, what type and for how much action is for the game.

Yes, CAL lost. Yet while what and how I do this doesn't always work (pretty won-lost record) one needs to remember it is designed to earn cash/money/units/your term over and for the entire course of the season.
