There are times when ghosts appear and many-a-time it's after a rough night so try to stir up trouble. It happens to everyone. That being said, with everything in the thread, to me, it'd only make sense to read it from the beginning to the current page to try and get a handle before making such a comment/question.

In all seriousness, if you or others like a team and the line before I have a chance to post my day's action PLAY IT. Don't ever let one person's opinion change your mind. Believe in yourself. Trust in your conviction(s). Of the current four booked, I am only in agreement with one of your listed teams. Right now, looking a little deeper at one game to see if it can be done for a half unit, if not there are more games Wednesday.

Dumb question. What are the numbers on the left. 6, 13, 15, 9?

He answered that somewhere in the thread. I believe they are just the rotational numbers his sportsbook's list on whatever sport he is betting on that day. Im not sure what the terminology is. But, for example, today since Pit is playing Carolina. It would look like this.
5... Carolina +150
6... Pitt -170

and the next game would be listed as
7... Washington -140
8... Ottawa +120

then 9 and 10. 11 and 12. etc..

I have been betting 3 Multi's or more for pass weeks and was losing like hell .....

instead of betting $50 on a single game and win $80 with odds $1.40. I bet 4 multi's total odds = $4.00 (win = $200)

How come i dont see you guys betting multi's at all ??

Because multi or parlays as some call them:P are way harder to get. no game is a lock. if you get a game good job if you get 4 games in a parlay way to goo. i used to do that all the time and lost more than 1000. now im betting big money for games that im pretty sure will win and within a week ive made back the money i had lost before in profit. go the smart way.

btw. betting parlays isnt stupid. its fun. but dont put all your money on it. i make lil bets on parlays like 10$ 15$. if i lose not a big deal but if i win than bonus=) hope that helped.

No such thing as a dumb question, unless it doesn't get
asked.

The numbers on the utmost left before the team are the books identification number for that team for the game. It allows them to grade wagers in a more timely fashion.

I post the number because there are times when I'll play a team on back-to-back nights and want to make certain I grade each game correctly. I also have them on the my spreadsheet here and it makes it much easier just to do it for me, so i know how much it benefits books and locals.

Sometimes everyone thinks only people from North America read the threads here and or wager when it is not always the case. Best thing I can tell you is to watch and read about the NHL as often as you can to get familiar with the rules, teams, etc before placing any action with your bloke or book.

I am not in favor of multiple selections to win to cash despite a greater payout if one cashes. Getting three of four correct on a card is tough and not worth the time and or effort. If it works for you, I'm glad.

Also there is something in betting called the break even percentage. It states how many games you have to win to break even, because of the vig. Justin7 posts awesome videos on the math side of betting.

Don't make it harder on yourself by having to win 3, 4 or more games to collect.

That was Nick's second on the night, one more and word is Arby's has to give up a free regular sandwich with a boxscore. If he doesn't get one in the third or overtime and one in the SO, I wonder if they will qualify by Arby's terms?

I HATED those and during practice was under fire daily but it did help me become better.

I wish I could go to the MSU game, but school will keep me from going =/.

I didn't play, but I was offered a spot. The team was/is terrible and it wasn't going to be beneficial for me to play. Club College works fine for me and the beer leagues haha.

And yea I can't say I'm completely done betting on them, but man they are frustrating lol. I've been starting a new system lately...just watching it...so far so good...tonight is really helping it, but probably won't bet on it for a few weeks.
