Tough to blame Luongo for vacouver's game 1 and 2 losses. I think he has played well. Tough to blame the goalie when you're having significant defensive breakdowns. Even if they start schneider, they need to fix their defensive breakdowns. Jonathan Quick, on the other hand, has been outstanding. I have said it all along. This kid is the real deal. I was at UMASS when he was playing there. This kid can has talent. Think Vancouver will have work cut out coming back just because of how good Quick is. Think you can come back against a team down 2-0, but its much harder to come back when they got a goalie like Quick.

Quick is good obviously. He is the product of a great defensive team in front of him as well though. LA is the tightest team in the league after St. Louis so they make life easy for him back there. Guy has great "QUICKness" and positioning for sure. Schneider is just as talented though. Hopefully he plays tomorrow for the All-American showdown in goal.

yea. kings are good defensively. but i dont think that takes anything away from quick. he made 46 saves in game 2 for a reason. I'm a big believer in this kid. i could be wrong who knows. we'll see how his next 5 seasons go.

why does alain always start luongo? im guessing more experience in playoffs/big games? That's a reasonable explanation. But i think schneider was spectacular all year. True it was regular season. but he's a great goaltender. give the kid a shot and see how he does. i'd love to see an all-american showdown in la tonight.

well secretly im rooting for LA, so i wanna see loungo start. but if i was nucks fan i'd like to see schneider get a shot.
