Hey DG, I forget if you flat bet or bet different unit sizes for different games. Are your dollar signs units? So 2 for Pitt under and 1 unit for 1st period mtl/tor over?

Yup you got it. One dollar sign = to win $100 on favorites and $100 straight on dogs. So my bets are $218 to win $200 on PIT/VAN under and $100 or to win $100 on the 1st period over depending what line comes out.

Oh and I'm really liking Buffalo in their opener against the Ducks friday. The Germans are gonna have their backs with Hecht and Ehrhoff in the fold. Given how infrequently NHL games are played in Germany they should be spme crazy krauts.

That is definitely a factor having them out. Pittsburgh I know plays a lot more conservatively without Crosby. Both teams in general play a pretty solid D first game relying on turnovers and special teams to win games. You're right that overs usually hit more frequently early on though. This play just makes sense to me and it was the first gut play of the year that came to me.

These two always come out passionate against each other then settle down in the 2nd and 3rd. Only 2 of the last 10 meetings have gone over but 7 of the last 1st period overs have hit

Theres a good chance now that Philly has solid goaltending now for sure. Idk i just have bad vibes about the game. They're pretty bitter rivals and all that hate leads to lots of PPs. Philly will be looking for revenge after being embarrassed last post season.

Pretty much everything is 5.5 to open the year as historically the first few weeks are quite high scoring. Players not quite in game shape yet, sloppy play etc. I see a 3-1 type final in this one so going with my gut.

I thought I liked the over 5.5. But as the game gets closer I see it a 3-1 3-2 leafs game. Lets hope its 2-1 leafs or 1-1 after one. And stay that way the rest of the game. GL!

I started a new thread on this, but thought maybe DG or someone could help me out.

I got limited on NHL props by one of my older books, and was hoping 5dimes would have NHL props this year. Just found out that they will only do this for "selected games", so i am looking for a book that has a decent selection of props, but a pretty highly rated book and one that takes US players. I heard BoDog and Greek possibly do this? Any other options? Are those good choices?
