Friday Plays
DET/SJ Over 5.5 (-110)
DET/SJ Over 1.5 (1st) (+100)
Treading lightly here just in case. Detroit has had 10 days off so they may come out a little slow. There's a good chance of a live bet on the DET/SJ game at either the 1st or 2nd intermission. Not sure what to make of the TB/WAS series yet so just gonna sit back and watch game one and see how it plays out.Comment -

If you take away the flyers goaltending BS in the first series, I think we would have never have went to game 7. Being down 3-0 in the first and 3-1 in two games and coming back in both, coming up short in the on OT, shows a lot about the fire power the flyers do have. Pronger is almost back at full health, which is a huge boost. I dont think the flyers are dressing 7 defensemen tomorrow so look for him to be a huge factor, and my man Briere to stay hot. Boucher will also heat up this series, hes got alot of confidence after that game 7 win.

agree 100% with this! almost any other matchup when a team is up 2 or 3 goals, you could be pretty confident they ll get the win, but not sabres/philly.

The Flyers depth is unreal you're right. If I had to choose a team in the East to be a fan of it would probably be the Flyers. Love their grit and all their hard nosed players. Im wondering if the wings will go under now 3-2 score. Public is on both overs surely there not both going to hit? Seems most 1st games of the series go under because there trying to feel eachother out. We know both teams can obviously score and i was thinking round 2 to play all of the games in the canucks under and all of the games in the wings over but will the first game possibly go under? This play is messing with me now i wanted to pound the over huge but not im really not sure what to do. As explosive as the sharks can be you dont think after all of those days off for the wings that they may come out slow and try to keep the game slow and play alittle more defensive?Comment -
If Boucher gets hot, the Flyers will finish off the Bruins pretty early on in the series and could very well go back to the cup finals. I don't think the Caps or Lightning will be able to stay with the Flyers if Boosh is on his game.Comment -
Hmm, I'd have to disagree with you. If any goalie is on their game they all have that potential to steal a game or two and sometimes even the series. Jimmy Howard is a prime example tonight in SJ. Clearly on his game and holding a 1 goal lead in Game 1 on the road. Neuvirth could bring that Capital team to the Cup Final if hes on his game is what I'm trying to say.Comment -

GL today Dennis. Wanted to play over as well but think I am just sticking to Wings ML for this game. FYI I don't take any offence to smack talk against Wings etc. I have heard it plenty before. I have all kinds of friends that have different teams they root for. We always talk smack back and forth. I try not to get into it with people on this forum because for most part it seems senseless, but there are times I feel like chiming in.
On another note your Nucks have a series now with the home game split. I still like the Nucks to win but I never thought it was going to be a shoe in either. Predators are one of the best defensive teams in the league. I think Nucks win but I honestly wouldn't be surprised if this series goes 7. GL to you and your Nucks Of course if Wings and Nucks play the gloves come off

Played this a lot last year. The conspiracy is that the NHL and Bettman want high scoring games on American national TV to entertain and attract new fans. I've noticed on the Sunday early games over the last couple years the 1st period and overs hit pretty regularly
