What does it mean when you are playing -0.5? I know i means that the team we are playing on needs to win with more than 0,5 goals :S But that doesn't make any sense?
To me that would be the same as the money line, you are just betting the team to win the game? Or am I totally wrong?

If I am right, I just want to make sure that ML and -0,5 should have the same odds?

It means they have to win in REGULATION TIME. The odds are better because at the end of the 3 periods the team has to be -0.5. They can't win in overtime or shootout. That is my understanding of that line.

Look dude, you call them idiots? How hard is it for you to go to a bookmaker, see which odds they are giving you for the plays SBR guys tells you to play. Then right it down and see if it goes home or not..

It sounds like you're pissed that they don't always post the amount of units they bet and are up which would be indicative of the success of their picks. The odds on the actual pick should not matter and you can go look them up. If they are only picking heavy favorites (-200+) and that's where there high win percentage comes from, then the amount of the units won will likely be low; they wouldn't be winning very many units for each pick and would be risking much more making it hard to be win a lot of units unless they are very accurate.

The odds do matter as they are different from book to book and can change dramatically over a period of hours. The only thing that makes a play a good one is the price that you get it at.
Also when one says "leafs under" as a pick what does this mean? Under 5? 5.5? 6?

The only thing that matters in sports betting are the odds at which you make your plays. Anyone that truly thinks differently is living in a dream world.

I don't see how this relates to your problem with XKGB. As far as I can recall, he puts the total in his picks and often includes the price.

Price does matter, but that's where units won comes in. Whether he's right at -140 or -110, that will reflect in how many units he wins or loses. The fact that he got it at a higher price doesn't make him any less right, it just means he'll be up less money.
