Now that's how we like to roll, boys and girls. 3-0-0 for the night and back to the winning ways we are accustomed to in this thread. I just had a feeling Ovechkin and co. would light it up in such a big game and so it proved. Didn't expect Columbus to play so well and shut out the Wings but I'm impressed! And a great comeback by Pittsburgh sealed a fantastic Friday night.....

Let's keep this momentum for some more winners tonight...

So what kinda units are you up? It's cool you post your picks and record, but it really doesn't mean much with a base behind it...because while betting favorites in Hockey...being 4 games above .500 is profitable unless you very your betting amount...

So I'm just curious as to how you determine it...or if you jsut bet flat

I dunno how much I'm up on hockey specifically but I'm up a good amount. I haven't kept a track the whole time as I mentioned earlier in the thread (I also do a lot of tennis by the way). To be honest I've been taking more dogs than faves overall lately and it usually pays off but you have to pick your spots carefully! I'll usually match my stake with the confidence in that certain pick or team....between 1-3 units almost always. Perhaps one or two bets have been 4-5 units if I'm super confident due to a particular stat or trend, or even a big hunch.

Oh my, what a night. I won't be forgetting last night in a hurry. So close to a second consecutive Friday Night clean sweep! Can't believe the Rangers choked away a lead with 5 mins left!

Anyway, all I can say is Pittsburgh 3, New York Islanders 9. Wow. The best dog play this season by far and probably will be until next season atleast!

Regardless of the Rangers choking, a very good 3-1-0 night including the BOTD hitting!

Just starting to look at tonight's card and already the Vancouver PL jumped out at me, looks huge! Will need to take a more in-depth look at that game but at first glance that play looks like it has some excellent value to it.

I think tonight is mainly gonna be about the favourites. Don't have much confidence in the dogs tonight - the Leafs and Canes are inconsistent, the Avs are doing very poorly and although they're due a win I think Nashville will be buzzing tonight especially with Mike Fisher debuting plus they're gonna be fresher than the Avs who are on a back to back. The Leafs disappoint so often on the road and let too many goals in..will be a great atmosphere for sure in Montreal but I think the Habs bounce back and win well tonight.

Weekend round-up:

I went 13-3-1 over the weekend's games (11-13 Feb.) - that's a win pct of around 76 and I made around 25 units from this weekend alone...the most profitable thing was that each day's BOTD cashed...maybe I should just bet the weekend hockey and leave out the mid-week stuff haha...but anyway the task now is to replicate the past two weekends in the mid-week games. After a few requests to put my unit profits in my record, I have calculated the +/- overall (weekend included) and will now be updating it a long with the usual W-L-SO/L. I basically made more this weekend then I've done overall so it should be self-explanatory.

I hope some of you guys have been tailing but it's never too late to jump on board

Disappointing performance from the Caps, but not too downhearting in perspective, I can take the occasional loss!

Tonight's picks will be up shortly. Tricky round of games, I was gonna take the Isles earlier but missed out on the juicy odds - now they just a slight + money dog with my book @ +105. I need to weigh up whether I think they're still worth taking at those odds.

The Bruins ML line has been pounded leaving very little value so I'm considering the 60 Minutes line there.
