Yeah 3 straight losses at home for the Sharks. They were the best team in the league at home last year if I'm not mistaken too.

Pointdexters 50 cents: They were actually 5th, Washington, Vancouver, Pnoenix, Chicago @ 30-30-29-29 respectively, wins that is, San Jose had 27.

Pointwise they could be better then 5th though, they had some overtime losses too.

Lets not forget one of these losses were not actually in the Sharktank, but in Sweden so its actually only 2 losses in the tank.

That being said, tonights game was all about the goalies, Cam Ward was a wall at 41 saves and Niemi let up some pretty easy rebounds turned into goals by a hungry Carolina team.

I´m finally starting to turn the season around 2 outta the last 3.

Loving this play, Kings have let up just 2 goals @ home in 2 games, here comes the Canes with a tough game yesterday and I´m guessing that theyll be pretty homesick by now, what with all their traveling duties in the beginning of the season.

also I´m thinking Cam Ward is not in the net for this one (41 saves last night). Niemi vs Ward was the difference yesterday, here we have a well rested Kings team that is in harmony especially at home.

Last years game saw Kings breezing past with a simple 5-2 win away, I´m seeing a 5-1 today.
