What are people's opinions on this series. I don't follow HHL closely, but Chicago did not look great in Nashville series from what I saw. Do they deserve to be favorite? Or, is it just their higher seeding influencing the line?

I like Chicago to take the series in 6 games again. Vancouver couldn't beat them when they had home ice advantage last year (Canucks are a bad road team), and Chicago improved just as much as Vancouver did this season. Vancouver's defense is horrible due to injuries, they have a couple of career beer-leaguers as their third pairing who were exploited quite a bit in the series against LA. LA had 1 good line, while the Blackhawks have 4. The defense is going to get worn down and exposed, more so as the series goes on. Luongo better be on his game or this series could be a short one.Comment -
The Hawks' 4th line scored more goals than their top 2 in the last ten games of the season, and more than most teams' top line all year. The 3rd line is very dangerous too, but Madden spends most of his time on the PK. Luongo will be the wild card in this series, he needs to be sharp for his team to have a chance.Comment -
This game will be high-scoring fast hockey. The Canucks know they're going to win by scoring goals and Luongo playing his best. Their defense are not the players who win Stanley Cups. Look at the Washington/Montreal series. Montreal won as they got great goaltending and their defense was playing balls out every shift jumping infront of pucks.
If Chicago wants to win this they'll have to play a more defensive structure and capitalize on their chances. If Luongo is on his game though the Nucks will win the series as they'll have no problem putting in 3 or 4 a game.Comment -
