Ok guys, I said very clearly when I started that the way I play the system I only start series with teams with winning road records. According to those rules, there have only been 2 series which both won on bet A. Which plays do you guys want me to post?
TB on 11/02
NY Rangers on 11/03
Nashville and Vancouver on 11/05
Those teams did not have winning road records when their series started, so I didn't play them. The 3rd. series starts today with Dallas @ Minnesota. If you guys want to play every single series disregarding records on the road then this is the wrong thread. I'm trying to minimize the risk by betting only on good road teams, the # of series will obviously be less but I'm looking for no losses in the season and also very few if any "C" bets.
That being said if you guys want to play all the series just PM me and I will gladly send you an Excel sheet with the NHL series schedule so you won't miss any of them. I also have one for NBA in case you want that too.
h00dini: You talked about a 100k investment tio win a dime on each series in all major sports, counting today this will be the 3rd. chase in 7 days in NHL, both of the previous chases have cashed on bet "A". Also since 11/1 when the first NBA chase started there have been 4 NBA chases all cashing on bet "A" and the 3 points haven't even been needed. That's 6 winners in less than a week and a 7th. one starting today. At $1,000 a pop why would you even need to risk your $ on bad road teams in the NHL? If you are craving for action then I'm afraid the future of the 100k seems doomed.
Chase # 3:
Dallas +1.5 -280 to win 1 unit.
Record so far:
Series 2-0
Bet "A" 2-0
Bet "B" 0-0
Bet "C" 0-0
No system bets for NBA today:
Record so far:
Series 4-0
Bet "A" 4-0
Bet "B" 0-0
Bet "C" 0-0
when do you usually release your plays?

Hi Cheme82,
I saw the stat that said last year this system went 56-0. I was just wondering if you knew how many of these were won on the A bet, how many on the B and how many on the C?
Good sytem you've got.
Good luck

Just curious, but I thought LA would have been a play (based on their away record)?

Not sure what is going on with Chem. Hoodini, Did you take Calgary last night and LA the other night (and tonight on the B bet)?

Well, it seems that Cheme82 isn't posting picks anymore. I guess that's fair enough given the daft questions and general grief he was getting.
Anyway, how about the idea that we all post/confirm cheme82's system picks here?
I won the LA Kings B bet last night. According to what I can see, there aren't any more picks for a few days.
I now have perhaps one of the daftest questions ever posted on the SBR. In the NHL standings table in the away column it might say 3 - 2 - 4. I assume this means won 3, lost 2, tied 4. Would this count as a .5 or greater away record? Its just that they've won 3 and lost 2 so that'd be .6, but they won 3 and didn't win 6 so thats .33. The other thing is I thought they went into overtime so there was always a winner, so how are games tied?
Basically, I'm from the UK and don't know anything about ice hockey (or any American sports/leagues to be honest). If someone could give me a few pointers that'd be great!
Good luck and apologies if I'm annoying

I think Chem's picks are the same as mcbains, except the team must have a winning record on the road.

...and I beleive McBain would start filtering out teams with an under .500 rd rcd at the 25 gm mark.

Just work out the teams with a .5 or better road record. Unfortunately, as I explained in my earlier post, I don't know how to do that with tied games.

On Monday 16th Nov I have New Jersey Devils and Tampa Bay Lightning. New Jersey Devils have a 9-0-0 away record and Tampa Bay Lightning have a 5-1-4 away record. New York Islanders are starting an away trip, but their away record is 2-4-5 so we skip them, right?
So I say for Mon 16th Nov
NJ Devils (A)
TB Lightning (A)
Anyone else agree/disagree?

I agree with NJ; however, I show Tampa's away record as 2-4-2 (I think you were looking at their last 10). I think NJ is the only play Monday.

Yes, you're right. I'm an idiot. Thanks
I get New Jersey Devils +1.5 at -246 at pinnacle.

I know I'm probably getting ahead of myself, but I'd say there's a series starting tomorrow (17th Nov) on Colorado Avalanche. They have an away record of 6-3-3.
I know I'm kind of early, but as you can see from my mistakes above, I probably need someone else to keep me right.
Goodluck with New Jersey Devils tonight!

Once again, getting ready for tomorrow (18th Nov), I see that Florida Panthers and Philadelphia Flyers are starting a series.
Philadelphia Flyers have an away record of 3-2-0, so I'll bet on them.
Florida Panthers have an away record of 4-4-1 so I don't know what to do with them. Is that better, worse or exactly a .500 away record?
dvb02, it looks a bit like it might just be me and you doing this now. What do you think?
Is anyone else reading?

I agree with your assessment; however, I may pass on both of these series. Of the 3 teams Philadelphia will be playing, 2 of the teams have very good home records. I know, I should not handicap the games and just play the system. I have not decided yet if I will play them. I sure wish Chem would come back!!! Are you definitely taking them??

I've bet on the Philadelphia Flyers and left the Florida Panthers. I did that before I read your post dvb02. I know nothing about ice hockey so didn't realise they were playing good teams. I guess I should have done more research.
I know this is a stupid question, but does Florida's record count as .5 or above? Any explanation would be helpful.

I would think that Florida's record counts as .5, but I am not certain. I also know very little about hockey. Since Chem is not posting the plays with his filters, I am just trying to be extra cautious (especially since the puck lines are so high). I still think you will be fine with Philadelphia because they seem to be pretty good. Good luck. It looks like there may be a few games for the 19th. I will check them out a little later tonight.

I'd say that tomorrow (Nov 19th) teams starting a series are
BOS Bruins
CHI Blackhawks
CLB Blue Jackets
PIT Penguins
They have the following away records
BOS Bruins 2-3-2
CHI Blackhawks 2-3-1
CLB Blue Jackets 5-4-0
PIT Penguins 7-3-0
So I'd say go for CLB Blue Jackets and PIT Penguins
Any thoughts folks? Have I messed up?

Aye, I guess the gambling Gods were looking out for me last night!
I don't like the juice too much tonight - I'm betting £520 to win £200. I'm using pinnacle and I think if it goes to a C bet with this juice I'll have hit their maximum. I'll have to be careful.
Good luck tonight

I am in the U.S. If I am not mistaken, that is serious money you are playing. If it does go to a C bet that would be scary. Are you only taking 1 of the games tonight?

I was on both games last night. Obviously Columbus won and Pittsburgh lost.
I'm betting to win £100 each series. I think thats about $170. Yes, when it gets to a C bet it is very scary. Not had one yet in hockey. Had them in NBA, Baseball and WNBA. Lost them in NBA and WNBA - bad times.
Thats what I was talking about in my earlier post. If the juice is -250 for a three game series then a series loss in NHL would be so much worse than in NBA. I'm not sure if I've got the balls for it.
Buffalo Sabres start tomorrow (20th Nov). Away record 5-2-0. Pittsburgh B bet as well.

Miffy, I do not show Buffalo as a play tomorrow (although I am playing them separately tonight). Boston was a possibility, but I will pass. Yes, Pitt is a B bet tomorrow.
