#38With the win over Vancouver last night, the Kings are now only 3 points out of a spot.
It is still a longshot though. With 9 OTL, the Kings win total is the lowest in the bunch, and that is the first tie breaker. If they were to get in, they'd have to cleanly finish ahead of 5 of the 8 teams still in the hunt; which does not seem likely.Comment -

#43The Flyers WILL make the playoffs. The Bruins, like the Sharks, are starting to choke. They remind me of the Senators a season or two ago. Strong out of the gate but sucking tit late in the season. Depending on who these two teams face, they could both be eliminated inthe first round.
Washington is also slumping as of late. My pick in the west would be Calgary at the moment. In the east it si a toss up with Jersy and Philly. If it comes down to goaltending, that is a no brainer between the two teams (Brodeur) but... if you are going to count on offense, it's hard to look past Carter, Richards, Gagne etc.. etc... Biron stood on his head last year and when it comes down to it, he can win games (as he proved to all of us last year).Comment -

*****NewsFlash******not happening...
Devils are team at home consider yourself "lucky" if u beat them... they are that team that just keeps coming at you and at you until they get one by the opposing goalie. They do not have a ovechkin or a crosby or whoever the else you wanna throw in there. They have guys that play as a team. Everyone f..king hates them because they win with 3 things
1) Coaching
2) Defense
3) GoaltendingComment -

#54I could bet that won't be the Cup matchup.
I could even bet that neither team will make the Stanley Cup Finals[quote=jjgold;5683305]I win again like usual

You said:
".stanley cup ...flyers/capitals VS Flames.....thats simple....."
I will bet that it is not the Stanley Cup matchup. 5 dimes or whatever you want to bet is good with me.
I'm good for it if I lose. I have several thousand available to bet with. I assume you have enough because you said you have a lot of money.[quote=jjgold;5683305]I win again like usual

#70I disagree. Carolina does have one thing going for them: mostly home games left.
They'll need to fend off Pittsburgh for the 5th seed.[quote=jjgold;5683305]I win again like usual
