vancouver needs a tough guy who can yell at sedins and toughen them up/hold them accountable. vancouver is too wimpy for playoff hockey. Tortorella would be good fit.

The Vancouver Canucks are talking to John Tortorella about their vacant head coach position, according to the RDS' Renaud Lavoie.

Lavoie calls Torts "one of the strong candidates" to replace the fired Alain Vigneault. The Rangers fired Tortorella after they were eliminated in five games in the second round by the Bruins. Despite overseeing one of the Rangers' most successful periods in the last 20 years, Torts' attitude and way of dealing with his players eventually wore down the Rangers' locker room. Tortorella has also been linked to the Stars in addition to the Canucks, who also could have interest in Dan Bylsma if the Penguins fire him.

Like the Marchand prop he is a clutch performer when the game is on the line. I also think this series goes 6 or 7. I just don't see a sweep and think both teams take at least 2 games. Looks like a good spot to pick up a few units.

we got a classic NHL OT-game brewin'...heart-stoppin' end-to-end hockey at it's best...

just before gametym, I i put on a prop "at least one game goes to double-OT" at +200 ... so makes this game just that much more memorable...game could have easily ended a half dozen times at BOTH ends of the ice...three of 'em in the last two minutes...

i also took the bruins to win at +142...but hedged out of it so it now stands as push or 70% of the pop...

a bruins win would cap off a perfect game for me--and hockey216--but this game is so great i really don't care who wins...(and its a damn shame someone has to register a "L")...
