The $20,000 MLB Contest

Requirements

• Players must deposit $50+ into their Legends accounts after April 11th, 2011. New accounts must be created via the Promo Link, and are eligible for an exclusive 33% bonus on deposits of $100+.

• This is a one-time funding requirement. Inter-book transfers, SBR Store promotions or bonus cash do not satisfy the deposit requirement.

• Posters that join after the contest starts must have made their $50 deposit by the 15th of that month to be able to claim cash winnings. Posters who join after the 15th are eligible for cash only if their deposit is made prior to picks being placed.

Exceptions: If a poster already has a $200 balance, comprised entirely of real-cash, he/she does not need to make the $50 deposit. Posters with less than $200 balances must redeposit $50 to be prize-eligible.

Fine-print
1. All prizes are cash and carry 5X rollover.
2. Players who do not deposit in the listed time-frames will win 25% of the cash prize in SBR Points. Players can deposit at anytime to be eligible for cash prizes for the subsequent month. All contestants must enter a valid Legends account regardless of if they choose to play for SBR Points.
3. SBR employees and members of their family are prohibited from claiming any prizes.
4. In the event of any tie, prize amounts will be split and combined equally.
5. Must make a minimum of 70 picks per month to qualify for that month's prizing. Must make a minimum of 140 picks to qualify for Grand Prizing.

Rudy, you wouldn't necessarily have to bet Baseball there. NBA playoffs still go for another 2 months or so. Plus, every once in a while they have a dog that is higher than other shops. Or you could just leave it in there till football rolls around and hopefully have some of this "bonus" money added on.

Anyways, thanks for the contest as always! Really wish you guys could do one of these where you can't participate unless you make the deposit though. Half the money gets lost because people are playing for SBR points.

That's correct. One new deposit of $50 makes you eligible for everything, all the monthly pools & Grand Prize-pool.

Yes, it is accurate. Legends tells us that they were planning to go with a progressive dimeline, but that this won't happen until next year.

I full agree!

I will play because I like Legends and have proper amount there, but I feel bad about swarm no pros and point stiffs who will take their free points shot and cut a lot real players prizes!

i miss the beat the prick contest format. much easier to cash in that type of contest. in the moneyball shootout type format i have not even come close. then again i suck at handicapping basketball.
