#177Dunno if 100,000 required bud , but the best point you make is about money management and so many people just dont realise the importance of having a solid betting plan in place , 1% of your bank per bet IS SPOT ON and patience to let it build , we all want to be millionaires but the reality is if you can turn a monthly profit you are doing extremely well , good post Tomahawk .. GL Guys !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

#180I started with a 10k bankroll a year ago. it is now 60k, betting 2.5% of my bankroll. i do purchase picks through statsportpick.com and on money line bets look to make 1/2 original bet if it looses .Comment -

for real??? or are you just a tout promoting that fking website??
anyway, i also believe that 100k is not required. for as long as you know how to do proper money management and make profit each and every month no matter how small it is, then youre on the right trackComment -

#183Betting 4 a PAYMENT
Really, the thought of betting for a living is enticing for many. Its a huge long shot to actually have that type of skill and (most importantly) luck. Like going to the moon and stars!
Many of us travel by airplane and ride high into the skies, but only a select few actually have reached the moon. Eventually we allll come down from our trip (plays) and hope for a nice landing (versus a horrendous CRASH!!!). And then, we take another flight hoping for a smoooth ride
Why not bet for a payment? Start small..
groceries
electricity bill
something special for a loved one
and then, if you're really lucky...
pay off your car
(my favorite) buy your home outright <---anyone living in a paid home is a KING! Most never attain that.
Make sportsbetting a hobby not a habit or necessity. Have fun with it, but don't depend on it. Unless you inherit a life worth, most wealthy individuals have several streams of money flowing from several avenues. So when you're running with a bad streak (which WILL happen), where do you go if sportsbetting is your only source of income?
Grab a system and stick with it until you need to change. There are some great advices in this forum, but sportsbetting for a living.........a huge gamble.
ANY BET CAN MAKE ONE RICH, BUT THE SAME BET CAN BREAK ANOTHA! Funny but true. To me, thats the most exciting aspect in why many like doing this. The chance to become wealthy.....and a dream for many. Like myself.Comment -

#184Man, that cat has a whole syndicated operation going on. And he's clever, so clever that most books/casinos don't even want him in the building. Most of us couldn't create a setup like that. First, you would need several trustworthy comrades. No need to go to the 2nd or 3rd, because that in itself would be hard to accomplish.Comment -

#189when i was in vegas 1 1/2 years ago a friend of mine used them. they cater to high rollers mostly from Boston, and New York. The online website is new for them. I don't know how they do it, but i do know the MLB season does not start until May, NBA in Dec. and they don't have many NFL picks.Comment -

#190I agree with you guys...you either have to follow a capper that the masses don't know about or you have to have a system yourself....and what bolt said is also correct in that many "pros" have multiple streams of income.Comment -

#193making 1.5k per month is easy. you just need to look for "lock" plays such as roger federer vs some unseeded players (putting 10k to win 100 bucks) it wont take too long before you can retire at some resort or bangkok poking girls all day long..Comment -

#200This thread is going downhill and there is no question about that. There are, however, some valid points in here, but you're going to have to dig them out. Is there money to be made? Yes. Is it easy? No. Are you going to get a road map? No.Comment -

if anyone on here is thinking about recruiting the help of a handicapper service, DO NOT go talk or deal with this sorry bunch of losers. If anyone on here has ever heard or dealt with these lowlife losers they can back me up. If not make sure NOT to. They are nothing but a bunch of liars, cheats, and thieves. They have a loser named Tim Kennedy working for them who is a real piece of trash so if anyone receives a call from anyone representing using these names, hang up and DO NOT DEAL WITH THEM!Comment -

actually these losers are not that bad at all. in fact, they can be your lucky charm. just fade all their plays. if they hit 40% and below then youll be a millionaire in no time.Comment -
