three best things I use are MLB.com, rotoinfo.com and the bill james app also look at sportsbettingstats.com also at times for pitching.

I immediately recognized the data at sportsbettingstats.com. It is the one that can be found at bet365 ... interesting

Cabrera tops that list considering temp and avg against pitcher but if the rest of the team don't get on base before him I don't know if he will score a lot of fantasy points today. Maybe a home run? I haven't decided yet on him. He is quite expensive

looks like the mets have a really good avg against this pitcher but he is hot and he actually allowed only 1 run when they last met.

The twins are not that hot but they have a good avg against the opposing pitcher too. I might select some of them.

Besides that, I think I will try to select some hot batters that are facing weak cold pitchers.

Today is tough. Their are 22 guys who are hitting .400 or above the last 7 games. You have guys like Michael Bourn who is hitting .588 (10-17) against his opposing starter today and Jose Molina (TB Catcher) who is hitting .800 (4-5) against his opposing starter. Lot's of choices for the fantasy addicts today so it will be a tough one.

Pitching is not going to be easy either considering two of the top three Pitchers for today are facing each other (Hamels vs Dickey). I big on pitching in fantasy baseball but Dickey and Hamels Prices are crazy. I like Wade Miley on the mound today. He had a rough outing his last time out, I expect him to rebound today against a Dodgers team that is struggling to score runs as of late. Not too bad of a price either considering I was able to stock up on some heavy hitters who are hot right now and some guys who have favorable matchups.

I had Cabrera today who did alright, but Jamey Caroll and Justin Roganio did not do much for me. Just took a look at tomorrows games, first pitcher I looked at was Clayton Kershaw who faces Arizona who he has allowed just a .154 average against. Dodgers are 8-2 in Kershaws last 10 against Arizona with Kersahw holding the D Backs to 1 or less runs in 6 of his last 7 starts against them. I guess I am going to have to spend some money on him tomorrow night.

Scored 34 yesterday but it was a really tough day. I got lucky with the pitcher who even though lost , he had a lot of strike outs.

jeeps, Kershaw looks good but I don't think I will spend that much on a pitcher today. Santana and Gallardo would be my other options but eventually I don't think i will have enough money for them either so I will probably go with the cheapest choice from texas. big gamble, but I think I would rather spend on the big names today... unless the numbers from Bill James change my mind and allow me to pick some cheaper batters with potential, so I could free up some cash for a better pitcher.

It almost seems like you need to have Mike Trout and Matt Holliday in your lineup everyday. Trout again last night put up an awesome line going 2 for 2 with 2 runs scored, 2 RBI's 1 walk and three stolen bases. If I had an MVP vote and this kid continued to play at this level I know where I would be voting. Holliday has been the same way as of late. Holliday is hitting .459 his last ten games with 6 multi hit games with 9 RBI's and 8 runs scored. How can you not want to have thos two guys in your lineup? The downside is the price on each of them. I am able to pull it off on draftday.com to get both in my lineup but fanduel is tough to get them on my team.

werewolf, it is tough to pull off if you have a tier 1 picher. I have Trout and Holliday in my fanduel lineup tonight with Kershaw but I had to dig to find what other guys that are priced cheap and have a chance to get me some points. topped one league with 41 points, won another h2h with 38 and lost another one with just 17... not a bad day but I still think I have to change my approach. First of all I don't think I will ever spend too much on a pitcher any more. Second I think I will have too look at batters with season avg below .300 as well, as it seems there are enough of those who could get home runs especially if the pitchers tend to be cautious against the big names with avg above .300

Got back from fishing not too long ago. Too damn hot here in Pennsylvania to stay out there any longer. Im gonna get ready to go jump in my pool. Just looking at who has been hot as of late I am liking that Rizzo kid from the Cubbies. Over the last 7 games this kid is hitting .414 with four homeruns, 8 rbi's and 7 runs scored. Plouffe the Minnesota Right Fielder has been another guy not many people have heard of that is hot right now. This guy is hitting .332 his last 8 games with 7 runs scored, four homeruns and 8 RBI's. Of course Matt Holiday and Mike Trout continue to put up nice numbers. Tyler Colvin from Colorado is another guy who is hitting the ball well right now especially for power with his .332 avg and 1.042 Slugging Percentage. Im not big on his matchup though today since he will face Gio Gonzalez who is having an outstanding season. Looking for a steal at catcher today could be Yasmani Grandal from San Diego who has looked sharp lately. Grandel is hitting .308 with an.808 slugging percentage in which he has four homeruns and 6 RBI's over the last 7 games. Im going to cool down good luck today everyone and Ill be back tomorrow with the info from Bill James.

I used to stack too at first, then I got used to picking a maximum of 3 players from the same team and I like this approach better. I am still a rookie so I don't know if an approach is better than the other.
