Colby Cave left an indelible mark on the NHL community, which is continuing to honor his legacy.
The Edmonton Oilers and Boston Bruins on Thursday night celebrated Cave's life, which was cut tragically short in April 2020 by a brain bleed. Cave was just 25 years old.

Now tonight Nov.11 Thursday, the Kings are in Ottawa looking to extend the win streak. But it's 3rd game in 4 nights and Ottawa has played better than Montreal by comparison.

So that line looks out of whack to me with Kings -115 range, Ottawa +105

Think I will try the Senators tonight

Also waiting goalie confirmation for Detroit home game vs Washington. Capitals are starting Fucale.... who?? I want Greiss to start for Detroit

What site do you guys use for Goalie and/or lineup confirmations?

MacKinnon out three weeks for Avalanche with lower-body injury

Center injured against Blue Jackets, tied for Colorado lead in points

Nathan MacKinnon will be out three weeks for the Colorado Avalanche with a lower-body injury.

The center played 20:40 and had two shots on goal in a 4-2 loss to the Columbus Blue Jackets on Saturday.
"Give or take three weeks," Avalanche coach Jared Bednar said Wednesday. "Happened in the game the other night."
MacKinnon has scored 10 points (one goal, nine assists) in eight games, tied for the team lead with forwards Gabriel Landeskog and Nazem Kadri. He missed the first two games of the season while in NHL COVID-19 protocol.
Colorado hosts the Vancouver Canucks on Thursday.

Bob Murray has resigned as executive vice president and general manager of the Anaheim Ducks, the team announced on Wednesday. The move is effective immediately, and Murray will enroll in an alcohol abuse program.
The decision was made one day after the Ducks placed Murray on administrative leave pending an internal investigation into allegations of improper professional conduct. Anaheim has not specified when these complaints were made, or how many people have come forward.

that's 741 GOALS scored, and it seems Ovechkin will indeed eventually take the top spot on that list

Wayne Gretzky however on the All-Time Points list (goals + assists) has 2,857

2nd place on that list is Jaromir Jagr with 1,921 just to put that in perspective

I’m sure Islanders can’t wait for their first home game of the season in a little under 2 weeks.

The NHL Department of Player Safety has fined Derick Brassard $2,000 for unsportsmanlike actions against the Capitals’ Garnet Hathaway.
Brassard socked Hathaway in the face while the former was still firmly on the Flyers’ bench as a scrum ensued nearby on the ice

Exciting finish to this game: Kraken's Giordano tied it up at 4's with a little over a minute left in the 3rd.

Crouse, Coyotes' leading goal scorer, scored his 4th goal of the season for the game winner, just 12 seconds later!
