The enhanced protocols include restrictions on indoor dining for teams on the road, wearing masks and social distancing in team facilities and testing on non-off days. It's also been recommended that players receive their COVID-19 booster shot if eligible.
The NHL, like several other professional sports leagues, has seen a recent surge in positive cases. A total of 18 players were placed into the league's COVID protocol on Tuesday and another 13 had been added by Wednesday afternoon.

He's on track to give Brodeur a run for all time shutout list. Will depend in part upon longevity.

Forwards Brad Marchand and Craig Smith were placed in NHL COVID-19 protocol Tuesday.
NEW YORK - The National Hockey League announced that, as a result of four additional Carolina Hurricanes Players entering the NHL's COVID Protocols earlier today, the team's game tonight against the Minnesota Wild will be postponed. The decision was made following consultation by the NHL's, NHLPA's and Club's medical groups. The League will provide a further update tomorrow.

Even though I like hockey and will tune in if there's a game being played this is probably a good thing for me as I've been getting crushed betting hockey it seems lately. Maybe a day off will help me get back on track this week.

There’s already a Covid discussion thread for this, joking. I’m tired of hearing about cap and Covid, although the Blues Covid Express, Nathan Walker is off to a great start.

For today, sorry for the late post, John Gibson the Pittsburgh native is starting in the nets. Every game he has played in Pittsburgh in the more recent years, he didn't allow more than two goals (excluding 2 games in the early years of his career when he allowed 6 goals in those two games). I don't know if Anaheim will win the game, but doubt there will be much scoring.
I hope you took the under .

You are seeing the game clearly Hotcross

Damn if you lost a big bet on that....

Despite having not yet announced where they'll play next season, and after some embarrassing lapses in payments to the city of Glendale and the state of Arizona, Bettman said "there's no issue" with the Arizona Coyotes and that the team is not a threat to relocate.
"[Owner] Alex Meruelo is committed to Arizona and is working on a plan for a new arena, which is probably what's agitating the city of Glendale," NHL commissioner Gary Bettman said Friday after the second day of the NHL's board of governors meetings.

During a game against the New York Islanders on Thursday, forward Trenin checked Sebastian Aho hard into the boards, which for obvious reasons didn’t sit well with Chara. The duo dropped the mitts and went at it in the first period, but Trenin came out of the fight with his face a bloody mess.

The Arizona Coyotes appear to be running the risk of losing access to their arena even sooner than expected, sources confirmed to ESPN on Wednesday.
The news was first reported by The Athletic, which says that the City of Glendale will lock the Coyotes out of Gila River Arena if the club does not pay its delinquent tax bills and unpaid arena charges by Dec. 20.
