Hamilton out for Devils with broken jaw, no timeline for return
Dougie Hamilton is out for the New Jersey Devils because of a broken jaw. There is no timeline for the return of the defenseman, who will have surgery Wednesday.
Hamilton will be placed on injured reserve retroactive to Sunday, when he was taken to a hospital after getting hit with a deflected puck 7:05 into the first period of a 4-3 overtime win at the Washington Capitals.

The NHL will re-implement taxi squads and other roster revisions as the league struggles with current COVID-19 team outbreaks, The Associated Press reported.
