#539And besides, I am not a fan of anything that requires bidding (i.e., FAAB, Auction Leagues) because to me, that requires a skill set beyond the realm of classic fantasy football. I am old school, I have been playing exclusively in leagues with priority waivers for over 30 years.Comment -

#552Welp, it's been real.
Put a lot of time and effort. Was really hopeful this week. Could never key any actual good free agents because of the reset on waivers every week. My team has been drastically under performing all year
Bol the rest of the season. I'll set my lineup every week but not spending anymore time on it.Comment -

Blindly taking Zeke was wreckless at best even though it worked out but there wasn't even a reach for Pollard as insurance in the later rounds.
Drafting in a no keeper redraft league can be deceptive with draft position. The accepted top 4 was rly a top 3 and even that with Barkley and kamara underwhelming this yr left owners stranded.
The best position was ensuring dalvin cook early in the second on the come back which was later compared to the earlier picks. I had to reach for the player I wanted at 4 bc I didn't like the preset options available at the time.Comment -

#554If we putting all the cards on the table your first two picks in rounds 1 and 2 were risky as it gets. All indications at the time pointed to Zeke holding out into week 6 and everyone knew gurleys knee wasn't right.

I will take the fair criticism for Gurley, I gambled and lost (like we all do) A few years earlier before he broke big I got him in the like the 5th or something. Obv last year he was top 5. I have to eat my crow for that, but no one "really" knew what his injury was but your criticism is fair, and I figured after basically sitting out the playoffs, all off season, all training camp there were no indicaitons of a problem. That was def my bad.
For Dalvin Cook, I really liked him, He also has had many injuries bugs and has never finished a season or not got hurt, so I looked at those two through somewhat of the same lense.
Woods shit the bed this year, Landry shit the bed this year, and those are really killing me. Ertz is a total BUM. That is kiliing me too. I think he got 4 points yesterday.
So I'll take the criticism, and of course hind sight is always 20/20, but I was drafting based off value charts and other factors I won't go into, but are anayltics based on players value, position, positional scarcity, adjust for PPR and our scoring system.
This year many of the ole' reliables have really gone to shit, and many new faces have emerged.
Not going to cry about it ,but essentially if you're not at the bottom of the league consistently you have essentially no chance to improve your team without a block buster trade. We need waivers without position reset. It's the only fair option other than FAAB.
If you or anyone disagrees I'd like to hear your positions. I've played for a long time but if you're not improving, you're getting worse. I always like to hear input from others.
BOL shady your team is coming on like I had hoped. Get one for NJ!Comment -

#555I've been watching the NFL a long time. I'm also a niners fan so I understand Jones more than most. There was zero percent Zeke wasn't starting week one.

If you had told everyone that gurley would be suffering and Brandon cooks invisible at this point in the season back in August, there would be no reason why everyone and their mother wouldn't have woods as a high wr2 with wr1 capabilities in every draft.
The only explanation I can see is that jaGoff is pure garbage. Woods should theoritically be smashing the stats in yardage and catches this season. It is a travestyComment -

#556We could do days on discussing theories and what not but I would say the biggest glaring bust that is unexplainable is Robert woods.

I felt, as did my fantasy pros and fellow players, I drafted incredibly well as disciplined. More than half the team is chronically suckings, which is something that is impossible to overcome.
It doesn't help when I need a win not only do they shit, Evans goes off for almost 45 on me.
Oh well, at least I'm doing well in Mpasch/non sbr leagues lol.Comment -
