Ben Bishop now holds the Stars franchise record for longest shutout streak, currently at 230 minutes, 53 seconds. He breaks the previous record set by Ed Belfour of 219 minutes, 26 seconds (November, 2000).

Penguins lose another game in extra time, went to shootout in Carolina tied 2-2

Now they are still sitting in 3rd place in the division after tonight (Tuesday March 19).

cause for concern in Ontario

last 5 games:

home loss by 4 goals to TB
home loss to Chicago
home win against Philly, despite allowing 6 goals
road loss to Ottawa by 4 goals
road loss to Nashville by 3 goals

Allowed a whopping 26 goals over the 5 game stretch.

Cannot believe how Columbus is struggling so bad. It seems like they would have done better without ever making the trades for Duchene and Dzingel from Ottawa.....two players with little to no playoff experience / winning pedigree. Messed with any team chemistry they had. Plus, with the contracts of Bobrovsky and Panarin being question marks since before the season started, I think this team might have some internal struggles in the locker room all season long.

Sharks already without Joe Pavelski at center position, then last night in L.A. they scratched Logan Couture (also a center). I don't know if they made official who is playing for tonight's back-to-back in Anaheim, but I'd assume neither are playing because they go home after this and don't play again until Monday.
