    Sure.
But he just hit a home run in the GreT American Small Park

Second home run in the ninth ties it up
You did see that, didn't you?

Good call, and they finally won a game!

I posted in another thread maybe with Jose Abreu going on DL they'd play better. Sometimes any kind of shakeup helps.

          Glad you saw that.
          Most posters scurry away.

White Sox have been an embarrassment.
          Shouldn't be this bad.
Abreu's absence might be beneficial . You can easily be right.

it's all good conversation here darrell

You post about player stats and situations for fantasy leagues, while my focus is picking game winners. I am interested in what you say. It's not that I'm disagreeing, just trying to relate it back to making a pick for a game.

Anyway, notice Abreu didn't go on the DL, played yesterday, and the White Sox lost! Trade him!

Taking a shot with Max Fried of the Atlanta Braves starting pitcher against a hot Milwaukee Brewers team
He had 11 strikeouts in St Louis last Saturday, got his first win this year, he might be able to keep the momentum up

San Francisco Giants Derek Rodriguez has only given up one run in his last 13 innings pitched
he might be worth the spot start

Lance Lynn starting for the Twins against Baltimore has an awesome matchup because he's always been very good facing right handed bats

Gutsy call considering he's given up 12 earned runs in his last two starts
Right now he's scoreless through three Innings against the O's

it was the all right handed lineup of Baltimore coupled with how awful they are. Chris Davis bats left but is hitting .152 this year! Literally! Not sure how that even happens

My Spot start for tomorrow afternoon is Matt Harvey
seems to agree with his new threads in Cincinnati
                        20% owned
He has won his last 3 starts including 3 starts ago, he did beat these very Cubs which the Reds defeated this afternoon, 3 to 2

Heath Fillmyer RHP started for the Royals today at home and did a good job holding down the Boston Red Sox. 2 runs allowed and benefitted from 3 ground ball double plays over the first 4 innings he pitched. But then he got pulled in the 5th inning after giving up a couple hits (one a bloop) and then walked in a run with the bases loaded. Don't know anything about this guy.

Tyler Anderson is a great spot start for the Colorado Rockies he's got back-to-back games of throwing eight shutout innings
Last night he was 22% owned this morning he's now 40%

I'm surprised you would say he's in a good spot tho because tonight's game in Denver is gonna be temperatures in the 90's and therefore a boost to an already great hitting environment. Of course they still have to make contact with the ball! D-backs may have Steven Souza and AJ Pollock both in the lineup, although hasn't been released just yet. I'm predicting a high scoring game in this one. We shall see.

                                    You are right about Denver.
But I believed that Anderson could get the quality start. He just didn't get the win because of a weak bullpen (shitshow McGee )

yeah, both starters were very good, then the game got interesting later in the game.

Tonight's starters in Denver would be expected to be just the opposite, Shelby Miller at German Marquez. First five innings O/U 7 is the line, believe the first time this year it's been offered at 7.....full game O/U at 12.5

7 is the highest first five total, I think I've ever seen.

Matt Barnes a reliever for Boston, 6% owned, has 0 earned runs, 15 k's, 4 hits/walks and 3 WINS, in his last 9 appearances

Lou Trivinio of Oakland, is also, a good reliever.

Tyson Ross the righty starting tonight for the Padres has been horrible in his last 2 starts, after having 9 starts prior to those last two in which he didn't allow more than 3 runs. He has not earned a Win since June 3, as the Padres lineup don't give him much run support either. A disappointing situation for any fantasy owners. He faces the Dodgers tonight, who do not have good previous history against him. Have to see if his current poor performance trend continues, or if he is able to bounce back in this situation.

Did okay till the 7th. Likely it should go down as a quality start. 5 k`s

In his last 3 starts he's given up one run each game has a sub one whip and at least five strikeouts. All three games were quality starts

I've got the Over 9 CIN@STL on Friday night and Reds scored 5 runs in the top of the 7th to make the score 8-1. Cardinals have been flat on offense after scoring their only run against Matt Harvey in the first inning...

At one point, Harvey retired 10 batters in a row. He was pulled in the bottom of the 6th after walking the leadoff batter, but he seriously out dueled Carlos Martinez in this game. Or maybe it says more about the Cardinals lineup.

Billy Hamilton is still batting 9th in the Reds lineup but has been red hot and made a fantastic catch in the bottom of the 7th inning of the game where he scaled high up the center field fence to rob a homerun by Matt Carpenter...go watch the highlight of that one, gotta see it.

Hamilton is also hitting 11 for his last 22 at bats and has 6 stolen bases during this stretch. He roped a double off the wall in his first at bat tonight.

Game is still going, Reds scored in the top of 8th off this terrible Cardinals bullpen. Hit my Over already.

Cincinnati and St. Louis is too hard for me to guess.
If you can figure out those two teams, more power to you.

Harvey clearly likes his new threads. Can't guess she to spot start him, so I just pass on him whenever he pitches.

                                                    Hamilton's 60% owned
drafted in my fantasy league, I tried to trade for him.
owner still wants to hang onto him but he's so awful this year. I want his stolen bases because nobody can steal this year.
I've tried trading Edwin Diaz and Kenley Jansen, but guy won't trade because it's easier to find saves, than stolen bases, this year.

I recall you said this about Hamilton much earlier in the season.

Agree he sucks as a batter, but he's been on a hot streak.

He kinda reminds me of that movie 'Major League' with the character Willie Mays Hayes played by Wesley Snipes. The character was really fast but kept popping up pitches, so he would never get a chance to beat out a hit. Mirrors what Billy Hamilton struggles with at the plate.

One game tonight (Thursday) coming off the All-Star Break

                                                          St.Louis at Chicago Cubs

Classic rivalry. Cubs are -155 favorites with pitching matchup Carlos Martinez at Kyle Hendricks. That line seems a bit off, Martinez been probably the more inconsistent starter but he showed signs of coming into form a couple starts ago, then had a bad one. Hendricks hasn't been perfect for the Cubs either.
