Possibly, but I barely beat Jake a couple months ago, by like 3 or 4, then stat correction came out and I won by 10 or 11. So there's that possibility.

If you guys tie then the playoffs are set, since Dan is losing to Jake. The game doesn't really change much, other than who is the #1 and #2 seed. Chico tie or win and he's still #1, loss and I'm #1.

6th week of being the high scorer.. I'll take it, especially after the poor performances by the rest of the playoff teams. My team seems to be trending upward with the DL returns. Ready for the playoffs after a pointless week next week.

Playoff teams are set. Shouldn't be any complaints since the top 4 scoring teams are in.

If if I can't beat Astro's this week, I better get nervous. All my stud pitchers have 2 starts in them this week.

You are 100% correct...but there isn't much I can do. Only good thing is that it's over a two week period which does help me some. Looks like I'll be at full strength for the 3rd place game.

Yep, just double checked and, unless people are moved up for off days, looks like you're only going to get 2 starts out of Fernandez, Davish, Roark, and Porcello for the first round.. I'll be getting 3 out of all of mine except Arrieta. So that'll be 23 of my 24 starts, then maybe McCullers will be off the DL in time for the 24th start.

We'll see but picking up Pollock and Bautista could be the difference. Wish Ramos didn't lose his closer role when he got hurt, but doesn't appear to be an issue for my team at the moment

Not sure what you playoff teams think about cutting a little money aside for 4th place. But I'm up for it since its been a long grind of a season and I feel all of us worked hard to get here. I was thinking 400 or 500. Let me now your opinions.

As my team is going to finish 4th I'm all for that. Even if I win it all There maybe a team that is in the playoffsthatmaybe only won 1 time but finished in the playoffs. I think we put in 1000 to be in the league. I believe they should at least get their money back. I'm all for

I said I'd win before the season, and believe I have the best team heading into the playoffs.. I'm fine with this:

Anything less for 1st and 2nd I'm not fine with. In no way am I fine with getting 500 less for winning when the playoffs start in a few days.

It's been a long grind so I'm cool with 4th getting something, but I don't have much sympathy for injuries. It's something that can be planned around, and I played for weeks down hitters while riding out DL pick ups, and awaiting position eligibility, in advance of the playoffs. Hell, the week I lost to mike I had 5 DL players that I knew would be back in time for the playoffs. Have to have a backup plan, plus I offered many trades that were declined that would have helped out.

Personally, I don't think 4th should get anything but since you knobbers all seem to wanna take pity on the sad sac that ends up there I'll agree to something similar to astroer, if one of you THREE ends up 4th:

Now, if I end up in 4th, I propose an alternate arrangement. The points will be distributed as stipulated in the OP, and in lieu of receiving the consolation 50% refund of entry fee I receive one HJ from Mrs. Matty at the SBR bash at punta Cana 2017, scheduled for a 15 min time limit (or less, whichever happens first) at an agreed upon date and time convenient for all parties involved in the matter.

I'm confident I will receive no such prize, however. I believe I will be walking away with either 1st or 2nd prize. Does Matty have the intestinal fortitude to accept such an arrangement, for the good of the league? The ball is in his court

I was pretty pleased about that, decided to take the L this week, and pass up another highest scoring week, to get mpas and his poorly timed rotation. Figured this was a better option than potentially getting him with all his guys getting 3 starts in the finals.

Time for it to bite me in the ass!
