That's exactly what I was thinking, too. Really excited to see what this kid can do up here.

I imagine Spring Training performance will dictate who gets the nod in right come Opening Day???

Are they penciling him in to replace Ellsbury?

Well they have Victorino and Bradley Jr. I'm guessing they hope he can come up big and surpass Gomes and Nava down the road. Ease him in and see if he can catch on fire.

Thanks. Stacked my team last year with a bunch of Red Sox and won. Not sure what team I may try it with this season.

Will father time catch up with Cliff Lee this season? He got Halladay last year, but I think Halladays struggles were injury related

Where will Bronson Arroyo sign? I'm kind of surprised nobody has given him the deal he is looking for. Don't want to give an older player 3 years, but he has been very reliable. You kind of know what you get with him.

He's gonna wind up with Texas or Baltimore but for less years than he's looking for. I wouldn't be surprised if he only got 1 year.

Guy eats innings. Stick him as 4th guy in rotation a good team and he'll get job done.

Chapman avoided arbitration with a one-year, $5 million contract.

He filed for $5.4 million, while the club offered $4.6 million.

Now to get Homer signed to a long deal.

Walt said he believed they were going to lock Homer up. I would like that, but as long as Latos is locked up too. He's more important than Homer.

AJ Burnett may be throwing his hat back into the market instead of retiring

I think they Pirates really tried to low ball him

Is Chapman going to be the closer or are the Reds going to start him at any point this year?

                                      And IMO should stay there.

He's going to be closer. I always wanted him to be a starter, but not going to happen. Wish I would have kept Kimbrel over him in Fantasy.

He should probably stay in the pen at this point even though getting 180 innings is better than 60 no matter where they come in the game. But The fact he's never bothered to developed a third pitch and his control with his slider remains spotty would most likely limit him as a starter. Based on his begining the arb process its probably too late to try to experiment with the thought of him being a starter

But The fact he's never bothered to developed a third pitch and his control with his slider remains spotty would most likely limit him as a starter. Based on his begining the arb process its probably too late to try to experiment with the thought of him being a starter

I'm also surprised that no team has even made him an offer yet!

Tanaka and Garza were the biggest names on the market and they both have new homes.

Ervin Santana, Ubaldo Jimenez, Paul Maholm and Arroyo will probably be the next to get signed...
