I'm not real excited about the Pirates re-signing Travis Snider.

Sure, he had 3 pinch-hit HR's last year, but his overall stats at the plate were dismal to say the least.

Don't get me wrong, I hope he has a monster year, but I'm really beginning to think that Snider will never live up to the hype and potential that so many saw in him earlier in his career...

Grady Sizemore talks are back up with Cincinnati. Looks like a probable signing within a week. Not a fan, but he has to be better than Heisey and an upgrade over Xavier Paul from last year. It's worth the gamble especially with no money to spend.

Yeah, it looks like Sizemore will be a Red here shortly...

I was really hoping the Pirates would've shown some interest. I've always been a Grady fan.

Unfortunately, it now appears he'll be playing in the same division!

It would be nice to see the Reds in the playoffs, but it has been nothing but frustrations. How should they lose? Get No-Hit and swept. Or do something that won't happen again, lose 3 home games in a row trying to advance.

The Red Sox and Grady Sizemore have agreed to terms on a one-year, $750,000 deal, a source tells Rob Bradford of WEEI.com.

The deal is an incentive-laden agreement that could pay Sizemore as much as $6 million if he hits all his incentives, FOX Sports' Ken Rosenthal reports.

No need for Sizmore in Cincinnati now. Walt said they weren't signing him Wednesday and later in the day Boston signed him. I'm not sure what happened to the deal. Oh well. Good luck in Boston.

I heard about the signing this morning. Grady Sizemore will be playing for Boston this year.

Wow! The incentives are huge! I'm looking forward to see how he plays this year after some lengthy time off...

I saw some 2014 World Series Championship odds yesterday.

It had the Los Angeles Dodgers as the favorite with the Detroit Tigers in a close second.
